That person has every right to compare the production since the production teams themselves compare each other. If we ONLY talk about production qualities such as > audio, camera, lighting, etc. etc. than S. Korea is top notch and I am talking about holistic point of view, which means outside of BL too.
Thailand, China, Taiwan and other Asian countries always mention S. Korea as their role model in terms of production quality, so comparing some production to S. Korea dramas is I think a good and healthy norm. A better example would be rookies looking at the experienced singers and taking them as role models. That's exactly what is happening.
First of all, if we want to be EXACT, Thailand was not the one that kicked off the LGBT genre - it was Japan with their series ''Takumi-kun''. After that Thailand started producing their own series.
I agree that Korea will take long to adapt to LGBT community, but they have done such a HUGE step, because they started showing LGBT community on a national TV stations - one as a second male lead and others as supporting, which is huge.
U were curious if that person saw dramas outside of the trending one, and I looked at the list someone posted up about which dramas do NOT contain engineering stuff, and I can still say that even tho those dramas have beautiful ideas and some beautiful acting and scenes, it is still not good enough.
I think - personal opinion - that Thailand BL is only popular because the country produces tons of BLs and nowadays they do the ''quantity over quality'' thingy. IF Korea will produce BLs as Thailand (in terms of quantity), it will overshadow Thailand and it is very justified why.

My first complaint is definitely at the voting aspect. At first they said they will keep it fair, but no offense guys, how is it fair when MAJORITY of the votes are done by fans who only vote for someone based on their nationality, looks and age. How is that fair?

Backtracks have been used in Korean industry for years, and I like them, but when they are kept ONLY as fillers. As it was said many times each member will choose what percent of the performance will be real and what not.

Yes, idols can be sick, but come on, same song and each live SAME amount of backvocals? This means one thing - the high notes on the studio album were altered to sound higher than the singer's voice span.
I stan real singers and not fake ones, because at the end of the day, anyone can record a song and alter it.
Now, after hearing this, do u still think this show is fair?

I am always salty about second seasons in general 'cause usually they are done for the sake of fans and not in order to explore the plot more and get in depth with characters.

Very easy answer for that. Not all killers are hunters as they like to call themselves. Some just find thrill in the actual act of murder, but not the act of hunt. A LOT of wealthy men do this and it is very disgusting. It's like home delivery....
