I ain't joining the drama going on below, but lemme say few things, which are subjective. Korean cinematography is known for it's unique and outstanding production, which is recognized in almost every Asian country. Many times we hear the lines, ''like in Korean drama'' which only means that Korean cinematography is really the top.
Yes, Thailand is producing a LOT of BL dramas and they give us skinship, but the directing and overall production is very low compared to Korean dramas to the point where it looks cliche and childish. In short, Thai series lack the mature factor and realism and if they do potrait real stuff, they often do not do it correctly. Also, let's not forget that Thai BL series lack the flexibility in terms of plot. Majority of BL dramas are school/uni centered and as I get older I find myself not liking this endless school trope.
Also, it is good to mention that Thailand often makes quantity over quality dramas and that is something I despise I think the most. Since BL is a new ''trend'' everyone wanna get their cut and thus they create cliche and bad quality dramas just to get aboard with the trend, which is so pathetic - yes, I said it.
IF u give me to watch non-BL dramas from S.Korea and Thailand with each having MDL rating of 6-7 I guarantee u that even than I would chose S.Korea, because even at their worst dramas the quality of camera and story is still better than Thailand. Did I try this experiment? Yes, I did.

My review for the first episode... It really isn't a review, but more like a rant. I love that the trainees had to evaluate themselves among them based on performance, but I have to criticize most of them, since they started with letting almost everyone IN because they felt bad for eliminating, thus the really good trainees did NOT make the final cut.
They really have to realize that this show is survival show and goes by the same rules like any sport - only best out of the best get to make the cut. No looks, age, experience can make u enter, only your skills. So I hope they realized this after the first episode, because the decisions that they have made were crucial.
Also, not gonna lie, I expected better quality of trainees, but that is a personal opinion.
Well, I do not expect full NC scene, but a hint of it would be nice as that scene was kinda important climax in the manga and kicked of their further relationship later in years. Very disappointed with how they handled it....

Just like with Where your eyes linger, the rights to stream were bought by another country. The reason why Chinese LGBT movies/TV series have sad endings is because of the Chinese law, which states that each content with such theme has to end sadly. BUT since the rights were bought by another country, the TV series does not have to obey the Chinese law. With this being said I am really furious at Jidan - author of Heroin and Advance bravely - because she promised multiple times that she will stream the content in other countries, thus going around the law perfectly, but guess what? She never did it. She disappointed so many fans, that sorry but, I do not trust her anymore.

The ending was absolutely perfect and I totally cried at the reunion and whole reveal scene T.T
