Yep, as far as I know they did not publicly say WHO is the producer. We only know that Japan bought the rights first and than others followed :)

If it was mixed martial arts they wouldn't be dressed in those clothes. I also think it's not Taekwondo, since Taekwondo uniform is black and white with a V neck, and the way they fight mostly on floor and the tugs look more like Judo. 'Cause Taekwondo is more on the kicking term and fighting on foot, rather than floor. On the other side, Judo is famous for the tugging and goal is bringing the oponent down. But idk about jiujitsu, so I maaayyyy be wrong :D Just judging from my observation and 4 classes of Judo, which I gave up, 'cause the tug of war is annoying - I prefer kicking much more.
