I might be wrong but I don't think Taejoo is such a thoughtful guy. He's definitely attracted to Gook but he doesn't…
Those words do not hold any heavy meaning tho. Literal translation would be "I really request you" that's just how Korean works. It isn't like English where we can say beg you, ask you, I request you to etc. It usually uses one phrase and it's up to the translator which English word will they pick. But that phrase as I said isn't anything heavy and in ''I beg you'' personally I do not see anything dangerous :)

The way he interrupted the date is a clear sign that his heart could not take the thought of Gook being with someone, becaaaaause Tae Joo loves/likes him and is selfish, because as u could see, he wanna keep Gook to himself. And the reason why he left was because he once again secluded himself in his little shell. He keeps acting out but coming back to that shell where he is "confident and flirtuous" and wants Gook to date, but it's all a pretense I mean, idk, I do not need subs and the dialogues are very clear. He sees Gook as a shadow and it might sound stalkerish or meaningless, but in Korea wife back in time was to be said ''shadow'' of her husband as in following him right beside.
Honestly, I don't know why is everyone confused with Tae Joo's feelings. Tae Joo has a crush on Gook and maybe he is even in love. The reason he k**** the girl and made Gook date is to build a wall around his heart, because he thinks that Gook does not feel the same. That's why he pushes him on dates to probably also show Gook, that he doesn't wanna limit him from things in life. And why he flirts? As I said, to mute the things his heart is telling him to do. So, no, Tae Joo is not happy with himself. I mean honestly, I saw the love in Tae Joo's eyes since EP 1.
Because it's badly done, so you don't understand quickly what happens.
@W two worlds Season 2 It is not badly done. This drama uses heavily speech and sentences which do make sense for Koreans or people invested in Korean language and history. So only foreigners who do not know much about Korean history get confused, so don't say it's badly done just because u do not understand historical facts.
Nobody talking about Kang Gook straining Tae Joo's wrist, because he touched his chest? The tension! At this point…
It was said in episode two. ''Even tho I am standing beside him, he is always above me'' which means Tae Joo's status and it was heavily implied in the taekwondo scene as well. Gook views the practice room as a space, where they are both equal because sport is fair.
what is that even supposed to mean that its not some LGBT show? because isn't bl just gay shows aimed at woman
For me BL is LGBT and I say that as a person who is part of LGBT. Asian countries simply call it BL or Y in Thailand, but it means the same thing as LGBT.
