I do not like the translators at all, since they are doing sometimes such a poor job! He replied, "me too", which sounds much better than DITTO. Also Kingdom of COREA?????????? They aren't even saying that! That's why ppl get freaking confused that, "no, this is not Joseon dynasty", which it is, 'cause they are saying Korean Empire. And basically, yeah....I am just mad, don't mind me.

Have to add that even tho this drama is fiction, there are many cultural aspects, that cannot be understood that well if u are not really into history or such, but basically Koreans watching this and history freaks like me can know about the little details :)

This is where translation fails :D
It is way too hard to explain it, because it is play of words, but just look at the name Yi Gon. The emperors of Joseon dynasty bore the surname Yi (bad romanization is Lee), also his clothes are from Joseon dynasty setting and the crown and emblem is the biggest hint, also he himself said in some episode, that the two worlds divided since ONE monarch of Joseon dynasty stayed alive, thus this is Joseon dynasty we are dealing with.

The emblem was used for centuries and is a sign of Joseon dynasty and since this is a drama where the Joseon dynasty still rules, it is very normal to recognize that emblem. U can search online "House of Yi" and u will see the emblem :) Nothing special about it really. Every Korean knows about it.

But u took that course in your bachelor programme, right? Until than u didn't have an intense course of grammar? 'Cause when I was in Ireland I remember we had mostly Literature focused classes and when I got back to Slovakia and attended classes they were talking about the names of the various tenses and I was like O.O ''whut are u talking about''. They could name ALL the tenses and how to use them but their speaking ability and comprehension was very weak and below average.

I am talking about middle school and high school.
I had the privilege to try both systems and it is so true that english speaking countries lean to literature rather than complex grammar. The reason why many foreign speakers do not speak well is because the school system puts greater pressure on grammar, rather than literature.

Lol, native speakers have often worse grammar, than non native speakers, since native speakers do not focus so much on the grammar aspect, unlike foreign schools.

That's what I am also interested in knowing, 'cause series without author's supervision usually ends up in miss, like Together with me : next chapter did. Honestly, I cannot imagine handing my baby, my novel, to someone else, while I can only watch from afar and let them ruin something that I have worked so much for.

And Theory of love? I am mentioning it, cause it was written by same author and had far better skinship, than this drama

I do not like beards and it doesn't matter if the man is beautiful.
It's weird, 'cause my own father has a moustache, so ppl give me weird looks when I say that I don't like it.
Firstly is the look - beard isn't appealing at all to me
Secondly is the hygiene - pls, don't give me a lecture that, ''if it's trimmed, there is no problem with hygiene'' it just won't convert me to liking beards/moustache

I have to clarify, that I am not forcing anyone into my taste, so no, I did not vote in Siwon's poll, because it's really up to him what HE likes.
I will simply find a man that likes to shave, 'cause forcing ppl into something just ain't my style.
