I never said that everyone gets their happy ending, but BL is fairly new "genre" in the drama world so producers should treat it gently. As I already said, China and even Thailand gave us enough bad endings in the past and it was due to social standing on homosexuality. I am not entirely against sad endings, I just think they should be showed later, not now, when the LGBT community needs positivity, since suicide rate is high.

The reason why people reacted so strongly and literally burried HIStory is because the creators and producers underestimated the fandom. The producers broke their promise which majority knows of - "HIStory will never have a sad ending". If they wouldn't have promised such thing, I doubt the fandom would react this way. But till the last minute fans believed, that there would be a happy ending and I quote ''There is no way this will have a sad ending! No HIStory drama ever had one.''
Yeah, I get that real life sucks and some people won't get their happy ending, BUT this is an LGBT drama and that changes things, because China has fed us enough shitty endings, so giving LGBT dramas a bad ending is verrrry risky move, since LGTB community is still fighting for it's place in the world of cinematography. What we need right now is positivity and encouragment.
