U contradict yourself. U say u can be catholic and homosexual, but than say that Bible doesnt support this kind…
My information come from actual professors and historians which major in Christian studies, so idk where your informations come from. I can back up my words any time, unlike you I think.
U contradict yourself. U say u can be catholic and homosexual, but than say that Bible doesnt support this kind…
Also, Bible is written by men who by the legend wrote what God themself said to them (or through Jesus) so yes Bible is kinda written by God sincr Christians believe it, which I beg to differ.

It makes absolute sense since when we question the validity it directly talks about the context and how the context is preached. Let us keep in mind that Bible has been written so many times that we cannot be even sure that the citations existed in the "original" form of Bible. Alsoooo each priests at the mass twists the words of the Bible in their narrative and u cannot argue this, because it is constantly present at church. Some priests condemn homosexuals (since we are on this topic) while others and the pope himself do not condemn homosexuals or the existence of the sin. So we cannot say that the citations were used incorrectly since we dont know the original form of Bible aaaand each priest is paraphrasing the words from Bible how they fit (which I also dislike because they are twisting the words so they could fit their narrative).

U are talking about a book that is contradicting itself by being written by multiple men who fixed the narrative of everything, because the world didnt end like Jesus predicted it would, thus ruining their preaching plans. The multiple contradictions can be seen throughout the whole Bible. And let us not talk about women and their place because same people who condemn islam support multiple sections from Letters to Corinthians which contain very questionable narrative towards the other gender. So homosexuality aside, this book is effed up and no historian will tell u that there is evidence that the words there are indeed of God or Jesus. Most likely, majority of the Bible is written by men who wrote things that they viewed as correct. With this being said, we have 0 clue if indeed Jesus or his God truly ever said the things that are in the book.
So straight ppl cannot enter queer spaces and write/direct about it, and a Buddhist cannot write about Christianity…
All religions look different in other countries. I am a Buddhist and Buddhism from India, China and Thailand look veeeery different. Like you said, I do not agree that not having first-hand experience should automatically ban us from trying to portray a certain thing with extensive amount of research. Look at me, I am a Buddhist but have extensive research on Chriatianity and Confucianism the most, since I am a scholar and hopefully future historian. This is where my strong belief comes from in terms of writing about things without first-hand experience.
Why are so many so upset that this is not a bl, seriously asking? Why does it have to be? Why canāt it be about…
Because they wanna change a centuries long legend into sth that is not? I dont care if they have another bromance/friendship drama - absolutely go for it, but using red string of fate legend and say it is friendship is just loco and pure comedy.
I swear, if Aof is Buddhist but doing Christianity theme because he was inspired by your name engraved herein…
So straight ppl cannot enter queer spaces and write/direct about it, and a Buddhist cannot write about Christianity even with a great amount of research? Yeah, not on board with this idea of yours. I believe that if you do a thorough research, you can portray various kind of stories to represent the group of your interest. I am not blind, but enter blind spaces to write actual articles about it. Shouldnt I? After all, I aint blind.
What a load of crap just from the trailer. We can wait to get an smart BL drama about religion and homosexuality.Putting…
U contradict yourself. U say u can be catholic and homosexual, but than say that Bible doesnt support this kind of love. What? I am strongly against Christianity, but I have thoroughly read the Bible and there are MANY many wrong things in it, but talk about homosexuality isnt one of them.
Red string of faith doesnāt apply only to lovers. Not every actor needs to do a BL. If they want to do a bromace…
Say whatever u want about how actors dont have to do romance, but please, dont twist the original legend which binds two soulmates. It has always been a Chinese folklore where the literal matchmaker god makes his marriage matches this way. The legend is and always will be about romantic love, not friendship or familial love.
She is an amazing professor and her podcasts and studies back up everything I have written here.
Idk...
Based on the director/actor interview it's FRIENDSHIP again.
