Haven't seen the subs but yeah korean is kinda genderless? So often it's hard to tell and for me the hardest thing to translate is ''cousin'' 'cause it can be male or female and koreans often don't specify if it's male/female cousin even if there are words for it.

I really, really liked this drama! I marathoned it and it was quite a suprise that I enjoyed a Chinese drama since I don't watch them a lot. And don't worry the ending is very clear = it's Simon

No, don't worry it's not a sensitive question and many translators expressed themselves on this particular topic. The answer is simple - No. Viki, dramafever, viu, kocowa....EVERYTHING is free and unpaid. They are called ''oficial'' sites because they buy the rights to stream the dramas and subtitle them BUT every subtitle is done by volunteers sooooo the quality can't be counted. Sometimes they are good othertimes bad. When I translate to slovak I rather use Dramafever than Viki (Yep, i'm totally bashing my ex-subbing site).
Motivation? Positive comments, thank you messages and I guess after years u just get used to it.
