U clearly have your opinion and mindset set around it so why even bother? If you don't deem it as a problematic move, that is on you, but don't ask why the rating is low when so many people have explained the issue very well.
Ok, i read the comments and I understand what's going on so i'm gonna be as rational as possible. Regarding the…
Devil Judge wasn't censored and ppl were mad, and At a distance spring is green like so much....
If S. Korea isn't ready for high-budget BL because of fear, than they should have waited for a good time to start this project instead of focusing only on the money aspect and nothing else.

Sorry, but why do u assume that I....cannot have access to Korean language and Korean physical books... >.< I am literally a Korean history major and have shit-ton of Korean books and even BL books. That is my fav shop in S. Korea LOL.
BTW why u think the absence of female lead makes something...gay I assume?
We are boycotting it for good reasons. Not watching it, is a form of boycott.
No one here is yelling at you to not watch it, I think it is your side that keeps calling people like me out, for the low rating. The answer is all over the comment section so WHY keep asking and opening the subject?
You yourself called the low rating out and started to advise ppl what they should do and shouldn't do.
BTW if ppl will keep the same attitude and keep asking the same question, ''why ppl have problem with it'' or ''why the low rating'' u most definitely will see me responding with facts.
Once again, I ain't forcing anyone to drop it, or rate it low. I simply state facts, nothing more.
are people really that mad it's censored bl? the untamed was also censored by china but it one of the best rated…
China has LGBT related media banned by law. S. Korea is not banned by law.
The producers chose to do this straight washing because they said that LGBT relationships do not sell, meaning they value profit over showing good story.
they act as if they don't have many bls to watch, as if they don't know exactly why the many kbls they do have…
U totally MISS the point and show us a great example, why some ppl are stagnant in accepting LGBT people! So, by your words, since S. Korea and other countries have harder time accepting LGBT relationships, it means that it should stay that way? That media should step back and support the homophobia?
So, years ago when women had close to 0 rights, things should have remained the same as well? THIS is your argument, my dear.
It has solid start and there's some bromance. FYI it's not the first Korean drama that has censored BL away, so…
Because it is an adaptation and it got censored.
Kdramas which have hinted bromances were not adapted from an LGBT novel so it really was up to the viewer if they saw it as a hinted gay relationship, or just a good friendship. If I remember correctly, this is among the only adaptations that are censored. S. Korea has no laws against LGBT community so the censorship has no strong basis on why it even exists. They created the censorship from hate, nothing more, nothing less.
Keep the assumptions coming ^^
I reported you for offensive speech, where you called people ''idiot'' if they gave this drama a lower rating.
Idiot is a deragotary term, thus falls under the ''offensive speech'' category.
You should re-check the MDL guidelines.
If S. Korea isn't ready for high-budget BL because of fear, than they should have waited for a good time to start this project instead of focusing only on the money aspect and nothing else.
I said ''straight washing'' and that doesn't mean a female needs to be present.
Do straight people need the presence of opposite gender to be always present in their life to know their sexuality?
Learn it, maybe?
BTW why u think the absence of female lead makes something...gay I assume?
Reported you, fyi.

I remember it.
Ppl were very mad about it if I remember correctly =/

Controversial - convicted pedophile and person who sold women for sex!
