yes, capitalism, but also it has the "hero" and "savior" aspect which carried throughout the show since S1 and S2 heavily had that as well. It was always about fight between the rich and the poor, but they were extremely heavy on the revenge part, so this ending does not make sense. It doesnt make sense to have such realistic ending to me, when there were strong heroic elements which were not....realistic. If we go only by the logic of the "good" people, their strategy was shitty, but still somehow worked in S2, so naturally, the viewer expects they succeed, but this? Meh. Slapping us with realism when all things before (plans and their execution) were messy? Nah.

idk about you, but those people create the minority. majority doesnt have issue with the deaths but about the overall ending, pacing, purpose and premise of the series which had been ruined.

I think majority had problem with the games continuation rather then the obvious death toll. Since beginning this was a "hero" story, so when we didnt get the heroic ending, of course it is disappointing.

I kinda expected this to end like Money Heist because it had the "savior" and "rebellion" dynamics since the beginning and with this ending it is just....idk....it feels unfinished and makes all efforts completely useless.

This isnt really slice-of-life drama and S2 plotline was all about escaping the whole circus. I dont expect a fairytale-like ending, but this ending is just pure bullshit.
