The Cdrama My Fated Boy had interesting leads with great chemistry, good friends, and would you believe nice parents? There is one clinger/stalker, but she is dealt with in a very straightforward manner. So nice.

Oh that gave me chills. Another one that creeped me out was when she wanted In to act a role and kiss her feet. I felt so bad for Wang as it made him terribly uncomfortable.

My biggest fear for Wang is that history is going to repeat itself. She’s manipulating Wang as much as I’m sure she did Siam.

I so agree! She gave me chills when she was telling In in that odd tone of voice how She wanted Siam, had to have him. She may have corralled Siam, but was never able to “own “ him and that grates on her.

Woah. The mother is as conniving as the come. AddIng murder and theft to the story, this ain’t your grandmother’s Little Women.

Watched the first few minutes. You wouldn’t expect dear mum to run off with all their money either, 🤣🤣🤣🥲🤣🤣

Going by the preview , it looks like the only thing resembling the original material is the title..😂😂😂

I have been fully pulled into this series! I particularly enjoyed epi 4, the pirated movies. What an eye opener!

I have fears of history repeating itself. Mom will try to hang on to the son as she did her husband. I hope I’m wrong!!! Regardless, this is a work of art. Going to be a lonnnnng week waiting for the next epi!

The acting is superb. Simply superb.

On rewatch #____, I realized I don’t mind the last 3 epi’s. Not arguing that it could have been done more concisely. But there was an order to it, which I appreciated. It wasn’t 3 or 5 years, and it wasn’t a blind jump. I do think the writers made Ke Lan go out of character. I don’t think she would have stayed that cold that long.
I agree the rating here isn’t what it should be, but that is greatly due to the awful subs on Mango. This is such a lovely series, that always leaves me with a happy heart. Hungry too. 🍅🥚😻😘🧵🪡

I recently rewatched the series, including this special. I enjoyed it all just as much. I think some didn’t get the dance at the end of the special. It tickled me to no end to see the cast celebrating; they had a great run.

Watched thru epi 7: It .kept me Intrigued to the end. This is one serious revenge series, Well done. I have a feeling it might have a tragic ending,
Finale Update: It indeed surprised me; It did not go the way I was certain it was going to.She is not your run of the mill femme fatale.

I would LOVE to see the brother sister relationship develop - starting with the shared love of kimbap

The first episode left such a deep impression. I have rewatched it, and find myself coming back here to see if others have felt it as strongly. Indeed! It is magnetic. Top tier across the board.

I was quite impressed with the first episode. Shot beautifully, paced nicely, intriguing characters.
I’m not one to theorize much, but I do have a couple of thoughts:
1. I think Wang changed the gps while mum was on the phone. This one sentence said it all; “I finally found a shortcut to you.”
2. The pictures.I keep looking at them. On rewatch I realized Wang took the pics with him. In instantly recognized Wang when they met. Was it because Wang looks so much like his dad? ? Did Wang only know him from Pics?
I think when the mom said it had been 20 years since they had seen each other it was a generalization.
In did say Wang wouldn’t remember, he was youn when he last saw him so they had spent some time together. . . Wang is Twenty, so….🤔
An aside: Loved all the globes in Wang’s room. Who wouldn’t daydream of traveling the world 🌎
