I know what you mean, I was shocked as well. But then she is the co-founder of the company. Wait until you see…
I’m caught up! One traitor down, how many to go?? Business is cutthroat. Those collage kids have some hard lessons ahead. At least our leads are on good terms again, and it looks like An Yu has another ally. Can’t wait to see what angst awaits in the morrow!
So enjoyed this little series! Highly recommend if you need a respite from the spastic world. It is quiet, peaceful, with beautiful cinematography. . Park Jae Chan’s voice is so soothing.
Omg no words. The Wan spawns of Satan are the most despicable, vile, soulless sorry excuses for human beings. I can’t remember the last time I yelled so much at the screen.
Epi 14: I’m just not savvy enough to understand how a person could walk in a business, dismiss/demote a director without reason in front of the ENTIRE STAFF. No matter what that persons position is in the company, how could she do that??? And to add insult to injury name herself as the replacement. Her moves are so blatant, So obvious she is scheming. .
Xing fu discussing her business plan with Mr Wan and his son who almost raped her sister .. wow ! That is weird…
Arghhhh! It was so very weird. I watched that entire scene with mouth agape. How can she blindly go back and so trustingly do business with these snakes?!?!? She was practically kissing their feet! He’s obviously playing dirty again from minute 1. It was so foolhardy to jump back into the snake pit. The village chief’s son makes me nauseous. The acting is stellar, but the story has made my blood boil- several times over. Sigh. I dread the last 10 epi’s. I wanted her to divorce that weasel of a husband and marry the lawyer. Honestly, the 3 city lawyers are about the only ones I like. Oops- that ended up more of if a rambling rant than intended. Please forgive! 🙆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️
I’m hanging in there! I like the leads. That said, there is something about the production and the story sequences that loses me. It feels erratic, a bit disjointed , maybe? Also it feels like Seul bi has done a 180 from ethereal sprite to brooding girl in a snap. It’s not that it’s unwarranted, but the transition has felt awkward. I flat out despise the psycho CEO. Again, there’s an awkwardness there…… but I have to see where the writer takes us!
Epi 5: Omg. The expression on Joon Ho’s face when Young Woo asked the practice question did Joon Ho like her took my breath away. The emotions towards the end of the epi had me in tears. Amazing performances.
I binge watched this and am glad I found this gem.
I love that she was talented, kindhearted AND strong. That is such a rarity! Kindness is generally equated with weakness, especially in lead characters.
My thought exactly, only said far more eloquently than I could have! I could watch their faces all day. A favorite…
Ah life! The joys of adulting. No apologies necessary!😌
You make complete sense and I enthusiastically agree. Togawa was always looking out for Nozue. Evidence to that effect was Togawa’s smile when Nozue decided not to smoke. Togawa was so pleased. A sweet payback reflecting the early days when Nozue was so supportive and encouraging . Talk about a mutual admiration society! LOVE. Every. Second.
Question in spoiler below for webtoon readers: I want to know! 👇😊
Did Woong pop back up in the webtoon like in the series ? I’ve never heard anyone mention it. Makes me wonder if the series writer just toying with us? Does this mean. there’s a chance for Woong or Babi to be end game? Mind you I was all set to meet Soonrok!
I’ve rewatched it, loved it just as much. I will say the Tomato story still sucker punches me! I always have to go pet my dogs. I do feel the writers took a bit too long bringing them back together. However, it was unique in that they were not stagnant during that time, especially Yu Hao. I liked the quiet, steady character growth though it was more Yu Hao than KeLan. She was so stuck in her guilt and fear, which is never easy to face. . That aside, I loved the sweet story with a side of delicious food. Also shout out to MengMeng & Wen Xing. Best uncle & Auntie ever.
thank you so much for this ...i'm glad that there are people like u who understand that people do shitty things…
So agree. People seriously underestimate the paralyzing power of fear. Also emotional ghosts don’t just disappear; reactions to such aren’t rational. It takes a lot to face them. None of this had been touched season 1 as it was all too new. Yes, it took time. In this instant world we live in, some things do still take time and yes. They ARE worth it. Kudos to the actors; these were not easy roles.
