Can you explain? Why open ending? What happen to Zheng Hao in the end?
Yup! 😁 it amused me how politely firm they when they were discussing it- while BOTH of them were washing the RV because HER parents were going to borrow it to go on a road trip. 🤣🤣🤣

Big Ending spoiler!!!
They all end up back at the bar( now their own comedy club) working together- including Shi Ye as he is part owner. Xiuya & Zheng Hao broke up, but are on good terms. Both the fellas plan on pursuing her, in a very gentlemanly competition. A lot of people are disappointed because of it not ending with a clear romance choice…. But not choosing IS her choice. It was a very lively upbeat ending, with many of Xiuya’s former coworkers at the club.
The series was a total surprise for me. Loved it.!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series! It’s been a while since I enjoyed a slice of life like this. Loved the awareness at the end, there’s no perfect fix to life. I don’t usually care for open endings, but this one was very apropos for me. Her life was still in flux, so romance was never at the forefront. LOVE the suitors gentlemanly competition. The future I envision. . The revamped comedy club does well. The fellas develop a great Bromance, she hones her stand up skills while her bestie with her younger suitor end up with the hot romance. 😍 Loved it!
guys can we please get the ratings up?? this is just an amazing drama that deserves better than 8.1!
First and foremost I am soooo NOT techno savvy. I want to rate by episode, but my problem is where is the individual star rating option that use to pop up? It was under the rate this episode, but now it says rate/review with no rating stars.
CJH, I knew it. Always has to be the close friend who wants the man that the FL has. But she was a bit much when…
Agree! I know she was young, but the level of jealousy was unreasonable over a soccer game, an admirer (he turned down) and vehemently asking him to never call her again. Those were all compounded by her demands to hide the romance( well, except the soccer game of course). If she keep this up I’m going to start wondering what he saw/sees in her - and no, I’m not talking about the coaching outfits. Meanwhile, the “friend” better be found out soon. Pali writer-nim! Let’s get these fighting lovebirds back on track!
The fact that the "bad" ex-boyfriend is getting the chance to change and be better isn't something you often see…
It definitely is frustrating, but worth continuing. I absolutely love the FL. I love how level headed and professional she is, even in the middle of the classic office scheming. Now to answer your question. The tables start to turn epi 7, where she is finding her voice and coming into her own. I Love her and her office team, LOVE the bar crew. Kudos to the writers and cast. What a delightful change from the usual. I hope this helps! PS: Don’t let the start of epi 8 worry you; things work out. ☺️

Epi 11 has become my favorite! Your description is so on point. Sensible it is, something we don’t often get to enjoy. I actually squealed with some of the unexpected and most excellent responses/reactions. I am enjoying this series more and more. A delightful change from the usual. Ps: I am in love with the bar crew. I want to hang out with them.
Like many others my feeling is we are not going to to be graced with a happy ending. I am making episode 9 my last episode, my ending for now. I will wait for the rest to post. My heart feels so much for all 4 characters. I can live with poignant, wistful, hopeful. I can’t bear the thought of a tragic end. Not this time, please Mr. Writer. 请作家先生. 🙆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️ 🙆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️ 🙆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️
Ahhhh, I did the same. I Immediately turned around rewatched the last three epi’s. Just so beautiful, so touching.…
Hehehe absolutely! I’ve gone back and snuck in a few minutes a couple of times today. 😂😍
I’ll repeat what I mentioned in an earlier post. This has truly helped me to recover from the pain, the keen disappointment I experienced post watching Dear Hyeri.
5:30 am, I just finished watching epi 8 and immediately went back to rewatch last 3 epi’s. I will be rewatching the full series again. Soon. So. Well. Done. Now THIS is healing.❤️❤️The story, the writing, the direction, the acting, the emotions, the chemistry all top tier and so beautifully moving.
Side note: Thank you writer-nim, thank you Do Hoe and Ju Yeong for helping me to recover from the acute pain, , the keen disappointment of Dear Hyeri.

Darn it. Now I’m craving Oreos.
( I also enjoy the other genres you mentioned, plus the slow quiet introspective ones ….. and Japanese foodie themed……)😌
