Excellent characters in a story that has kept me seriously hooked. No time for romance in that one, too busy trying to survive!
30: BAKSU 👏👏👏for the President, who is far far more savvy than appeared in first epi’s. My heart breaks for Wang Yang. He truly respects Su Xiao’s talent. The strategizing that goes on rivals the most elite Go player, or the sharpest General. I know procedurally wise it may not be accurate, but the scheming, the dirty power plays and kick backs feel very real. The intensity has not let up one iota. So. Wicked. Good.
I find it strange that people pointed fingers at her when he collapsed in her office. I mean if someone that age…
Right?!? But that’s how far they’ll go, how far their desperate fear will take them. They hate her because she’s young, because she’s female, because she’s smart, and WORST of all, she is honest and hardworking. I can’t imagine how she is going to survive this attack. Wow is this series good. .
Epi 27/28: That is some level of hate that the uncle has!!!!! The cocky young assistant( He Cong Rong) could potentially help Su Xiao; he was witness to the Uncle's bullying at the year end party. Help her! Oh the tension. It is keeping me on the edge of my seat. So good.oh- and so happy that Maria’s manipulations are showing.

Epi 26; This series is so wicked good. So many layers! There are more strategies than a game of Go. Not once has anyone considered her talent. They all judge her by what sneaky means they themselves would use. Haven’t we all come across these sneaky weasels at some point in our careers!?!TRUE STORY INSERTED HERE: At one company I worked the ceo worked his mistress up and into the busIness office even though she had no qualifications to be there.She made HORRIBLE decisions and mandates and no one could complain. When it got bad enough and corporate started noticing and were coming to the facility, the woman committed suicide. To say we were STUNNED is an understatement. . The schmuck ceo was pressured to resign. END OF STORY.

It’s such a great series! I can’t believe it isn’t swamped with comments. It’s the most relaxed setting to enjoy the artists in. You get truly unique and special performances.
