I’ve read comments that it was stupid no one helped, no one listened. It happens. It is horrible that that indeed does happen. Hate to remind everyone of the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. One of his victims, a 14 year old escaped, naked, and the police laughed it off as a lovers tiff and GAVE HIM BACK TO DAHMER, who then killed him. Omg remember a few years ago a professor fainted in class- EVERYONE whipped out their phones to video the passed out professor. NOT ONE STUDENT WENT TO HIS AID. Not one. People are so jaded and have lost their humanity. Sure, it may be extreme in the movie, but it’s not all that far from reality. 10/17/21 update: Further proof of the worlds apathy. Headline out of Philadelphia… A woman was horrifically assaulted on a commuter train. There were commuters who witnessed but no one went to her aid or called 911. This is the world we live in.

It was originally going to be 20 epi’s, but cut to 16 when then came back from the Covid break. This is one I wished were 20! Even 18! It’s been a fun watch.
I have enjoyed all the couples; they each bring a different energy. So proud of cast and crew! They’ve done a great job during an extraordinary stressful time.
I think Soo bin will fit in nicely! For me I find KSH distracting, causing a lot of embarrassment . I think the other three could get some of the groove of the early days back if they didn’t the distraction.
Epi 13: omg how sweet(and brave) was piggy to buy the pads for her! I definitely will be watching for these youngsters future projects. They are so good!!!
Epi 36. Was not expecting that ending. So so so happy to see Qiqi finally become part of the family!!!…. SiMei irritated me to the end, but wow was she true to character. Well written, amazingly well acted.

Epi 32: I’m clinging to the sweet sweet scene of ErQiang and his stepson talking in the kitchen. I love their quiet but strong relationship. Writers had better not mess it up.

Oh I agree 100%. There’s a high probability that the baby wasn’t his; remember the lowlife in school that was trying to hookup with her again. My heart has hurt the most for Qiqi from day 1. Also look at SiMei; as far as I’m concerned she’s not much different than the other girls that have thrown themselves at her louse of a husband. The person ahead of her just happened to be far away. She has dug her heels in determined to keep her fairly tale alive, no matter at who’s expense. Rant ended! To all the above though, it is unfortunately true to life. Qiqi is running the Internet cafe, living with his in-laws. Apparently they’ve been good to him; father in-law retired, sold his business and invested the money in the cafe for Qiqi. Actually in the long run, Qiqi has been spared much misery.
Qiqi appeared briefly in Episode 28. He was at the wedding and stood with the Qiao family for a photograph. Then…
Thank you! I was too distracted with what the father might do at the wedding and forgot to look for him. I just want Qiqi to be ok. Also am so happy for ErQiang and his little family. Please drama gods let them have some peace. They deserve it!
