I doubt this is gonna be as hilarious as the anime, but I've gotta check this out XD
Well, I finlly watched the movie and I've gotta say it's sth disappoiting, considering I had watched the anime version before and they're barely alike. If you're considering watching this, I suggest you watching the anime version instead. It's by far much funnier.

Thanks a lot for your kindness! I also enjoy reading comments. Sometimes they're very helpful when trying to decide whether to watch or not something. :) Have a nice day you too!

Although my profile picture is quite childish (and so am I many times, since I'm always fooling around with my friends), I'm 32 yo. :) Although our female lead did get tempted by Kehuan, he didn't get her attention due to either his wealth or beauty (like it was for the other women in the drama), but because he started to question her things she thought she was so sure about. Ofc, he was always around whenever she needed, so that was a huge plus. But I'd say he was the one who took off the veil that blinded her and made her see things for herself, with her own perspective. To add that up, her bf started to neglect her and didn't 'cooperate' for their relationship to work; he became quite selfish and too focused on his work and only looked for his gf when she left him for good. That all happened before they got married, but it could happen to married people as well (otherwise, you wouln't have had so much work, right ^^), but that would make the drama more difficult to be accepted by the audience, but still there are some dramas that picture that (and I still like them and don't 'blame' the characters for their behaviour like many like to do). Relationships in general (family, friends, lovers) may be hard, since people have their differences, but that's the beauty of life. :)
I really loved how you described the drama from your pov. We share the same perspectives about it. Most people focus mostly on the 'cheating' issue or on the relationships btw the characters, but that's just a part of the whole. We're all used to watching how meeting 'the right girl' has the power of changing a playboy into a good guy, but few dramas picture how meeting someone new can make you wonder about yourself, who you really are and who you really want. Weiwei needed some time for herself so she could find those answers. She didn't leave Haoyi to go straight to Kehuan's arms, like it usually happens in most dramas. I also liked how they focused on the matter that a relationship change when people change. That's sth very natural and real. And in addition to the 'Murphy Law'... well, nobody would want to stay by the side of someone who's always taking control of their lives. Both HY and ZY wanted to do everything their way and wanted their partners to just accept it. It wasn't love anymore, but just a sense of belonging. Bc of that and other reasons, their partners didn't feel happiness being with them anymore. When WW and KH started to meet again and again and got to know about each other, they felt good being in each other's company, and that's how relationships start. I admit I'd find WW annoying sometimes, bc she was always yelling at first, but she was short-tempered and she couldn't accept having her lifestyle changed. But, in the end, she was the character I liked the best, bc she fought for her relationship to work, she was always submissive to HY so they wouldn't fight, then slowly she started to show her true self, allowing herself to speak out her mind, then she went on a 'quest' to figure out about herself, then she allowed herself to love again. It portrays such a beautiful meaning!
Can someone tell me what happens to the main leads at the end? I'm thinking of watching this but I don't necessarily…
HUGE spoiler here: she's a ghost who holds deep sorrow. He manages to 'soothe' her need for vengeance and she ends up going to the afterlife. They promised to meet each other in their following life. He never stops seeing ghosts, bc it's in the 'invisible' world that she exists (that's what he says). The last scene (before the 'extra') shows them together, but I think that's just his immagination. It's sth kinda open to your interpretation. If you cry easily, prepare a box of tissues. I cried a lot in the last episode. It's sad but not that much when you think she was a 'prisoner' on Earth for 1300 years bc of her heart full of anger.
Honestly speaking the hype it get and the cast it had unfortunately all had gone south for me. I had so much of…
I believe the real focus of this drama was about lingering bad feelings and how that do nth to you but to 'poison' your soul (that's why the ghosts who'd linger for too long on Earth would turn into vengeful spirits); you only free yourself when you learn to let go of that. Ofc, a drama based only on that wouldn't be really attractive, so they've mixed it with romance (which most like to see), comedy, and fantasy. I really liked it bc it conveyed a nice message to me and bc I like how they show how falling in love can make one change (cliché, right, but I can't help 'liking' it ^^). Nobody has to share the same taste/pov about things, but it's a pity you didn't like it. I hope you find sth that you find really nice. :)
Most of them weren't released in 2019, but since I often look for recommendations on others' comments, I just wanted to leave my list if anyone felt interested on checking them out. ^^
I'd like to leave here my contribution as well: The Tag-along Hungry Ghost Ritual Bloody Reunion Confession of Murder (not a horror, but it's worth watching) Death Bell Face Forgotten (not a horror, but it's a must watch. I immediataly remembered it when I saw the picture of Strangers from Hell) Ghastly Horror Stories Killer Toon Marionette Monster Muoi: the legend of a portrait Our Town (one of my favourites) Svaha: the sixth finger (I really liked that one) The Divine Fury (liked that one a lot too) The Guest (one of my favourites) The Priests The Uninvited The Wailing Lesson of the Evil/Aku no Kyouten Another Himeano~ru Ichi the Killer The Neighbour nº 13
Kingdom is surely one of my favourites! Hotel del Luna is nice too! I wasn't very interested in Strangers from Hell, but your article changed my mind and I'll give it a try!
Jae Wook in Witch's Love; Lee Yul in Goong; Yagami Yu in HapiMari; Takumi in Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai; Han Yeo Reum in Marriage not Dating; Jian Jun in Mr. Pride vs. Ms Prejudice (really, how come one chooses anyone else over Gao Weiguang??); and Hyung Joon in Missing You (Probably many would disagree with me, but I felt heartbroken for how things ended up for him, despite all the crazy and awful things he did. We can't deny how badly he loved Soo Yeon, however).
Does it get better? I’m struggling to finish the second episode. The FL is kind of annoying and her acting is…
The beginning is really a bit annoying. There will be some situations that may make you roll your eyes, but the good thing about this drama is that it shows how both main characters 'grow up' a little because of their 'forced' relationship. So it ends up nicely because of that. :)
I thought I was watching a much worse version of Diabolik Lovers. The characters were definitely inspired on the…
Perhaps give it a try. Watch the 1st episode (since they're short anyways). If you don't like the 1st episode, then you probably won't like the rest of it. ^^
I have Angel N Devil on my To Watch list because it sounds like an awesome trainwreck. I did grit my teeth through…
I hadn't noticed your avatar until you mentioned it. LOL!! Good choice! XD The acting in Angel N Devil is just awful. It's so awful it's comic. lol! There is a character I liked, though, just bc she's SO goofy I'd laugh at her! XD And the whole thing is about supernatural powers and the endless battle btw good and evil (hence the title). Watch it when you feel like watching sth (very) silly to lighten your mood. ^^
I was reading that comic, but had no idea there was a drama based on it. Since the comic hadn't been completely released/translated, I ended up forgetting about it. Thanks for reminding me about it. Comics tend to be usually be way better than the dramas based on them.
Have a nice day you too!
