It is likeably but not really amazing... That is my thought on the first 2 episodes, but I do hope that it gets better later. 1. FL character could be interesting in ep 1 introduction - would like for more of her thriving and struggles INDEPENDENT from ML. That leads to point 2. 2. They really tried to push MLxFL by cliches like childhood friends, childhood kiss, same class, shipping friends, etc. making them feel close but really if you watched ep 2, you know they are NOT that close. 3. Tragic ML backstory that torment him and tries to be better to heal his relationship with SML. 4. At this point, childhood friendship broken by a third close friend should be a troph. 5. SML troph of the nice guy that would not be with FL because FL likes him as a friend. Hope for plot twist (well I really meant HOPE for plot twist) cuz it is as cliches as it gets.
Plus point though, at least it gets 2021 education in by sending a message of not throwing your unwanted things in the ocean.
I really thought Love would split into two at the end before 6 ep LOL. One male version for my boy Tangmo and one female version for her family and Meen. Poor Nuclear and Rose :( Could have lengthen the series with more episodes for them to find what they needed :(
Y'all I can't accept this series. The chemistry and acting and storyline is so well done... too well done for the ending it didn't have to be. All those dreamy build-up to get slap with the most BS ending... They need a time machine and fix this ending :( It a very sad, unfortunate, BS, writer-is-god, get-slapped, twisted ending UGH.
Me too. I was intrigued by the unique storyline hence why I was even willing to give this a full watch. Not that there isn't romance but the romance is toned down A LOT to not overshadow the brothers (believe me I also couldn't care about the FL but I must acknowledge that some of her actions has small impacts on ML story). Trust me when I say it is toned down a lot when you remember all the skips I had to do with the original. It gives the close ending we have always wanted and many extra scenes between the brothers.
Y'all... the plot fix of Thai is insane! loving the changes already. Especially ep 12 like OMG the characters are so well done (they did tone down the ML FL relationship to more real and the brother feelings *chef kiss*) I like it that it wasn't easy for ML to get forgiveness :)
I know it's been a long time since the last engsub but I will wait. The nonsub version seems very spicy in the conversations that were not in the original. Again it is worth watching because it is not an exact replica but an adaptation.
In my opinion, from the first 6 episodes, there are many clear differences between the Thai and the Korean version. In term of plot, I would actually gives the T-ver worth to watch because it covers many plot holes the original has. With that said, chemistry so far between the characters are still very one dimensional. The chemistry between the characters are much better in the original K-ver. But as far as the first 6 ep, there is a lot more potential for the story to be good in a different way. If K-ver is slightly to the sweet side, this is savory.
OK I watched 1-6 and till now no sight of ep 7 onward. As a fan of the original Hello Monster (I remember you) and Thai remake of Who are you (also from Korea). I kind of going in with a lot of expectation that Thai "improve" on the story. On one hand there are improvements like how the original just throw in "he's arrested for selling drugs" so the criminal is jailed. At least now there's a plot twist that they weren't just look-alike but also addicts who can't expose the criminal because of their family worries over them. On the other hand there are downfall like how there is no connection with the little brother. The original painting to the victim was a hand-mirror that reflected 2 male heads in one body. The adaptation I didn't expect it to be similar but at least have connection to be more than a signature. The childhood paintings were also of bodies of 2 brothers but the one on the victim wall was a stalker haunting on someone. I get that it fits the criminal plot but the painting is not to match his plot but that he does not know what it means because of the arguably main plot of the series. However, Thai plot twist is insane and I have hope for future episodes as there wasn't much details in the original storyline.
