nice movie and it is a long journey to understand someone, but the pacing is quite slow. Some of the transition scenes could group together as not just flashbacks or traveling but also how the MC is feeling knowing those instead of cutting scenes.
The series up to ep 6 is cute. A typical clash between spy work and personal feeling. Da Hei is such a cute puppy while Xiao Bai is youthful but also a reliable person for Da Hei to lean on. ep 7 is when the complex background starting to unravel so I do hope they can execute this crucial moment in the story line well.

PS: I have just re-read the series title, and I apologize because I was confused as to why Heesu got so much screen time that I forgot his name is in the title of the series; and because we follow his POV, we got to see only the love storylines with little backstory development on all other characters. Moreover, I think out of the the tags "Gay Male Lead, Gay Romance, LGBTQ+", they should only keep "Gay male lead". There is nothing LGBTQ+ about this when it is only 1+1 gays and 1.5 lesbians with over 4.5 straights. There is no Gay Romance and (my opinion may be controversial) concluding with happy ending does not count as a romance plot for "Gay romance"

His love line with Ji Yu is cute because I got to know how much shallow dating your fav singer is so convenient as studying in the same school and same extra curriculum. Her songs are truly powerful indeed as to convert a misunderstood common interest into definitely love.
Love is such a simple thing that Ji Yu falls in love with a handsome guy who acknowledge her talent and compliment her achievement and most importantly, an act of kindness returning the book she forgot on her desk in front of her which happens to be her song title which is probably why it was allowed to be left on the desk during extra-curriculum class.
I was so annoyed because why did they give Heesu so much screen time when he is a typical support character who helps setting people up. He didn't even help the main leads get together. Why did they show him trying to sabotage the main leads when his gig is being a shy best friend? If he was supposed to be the antagonist then they made his character so weak with weak motive as falling in love with childhood best friend.
Furthermore, why does a support character get a support character? Seung Won literally is non-relevant to the main storyline when he just sit by the side on everything. What was his point even? to be Ji Yu bestie? what did they do together to relate so much? To introduce a jealousy storyline with Chan Young in Ji Yu relationship? they did try and succeed but it concluded so early. He was only introduced as a way to stop Heesu rampage in a non violent way.
Through out the 10 episodes Heesu and Seung Won relationship progress is literally as obstacles for Chan Young and Ji Yu. I get that they wanna be family friendly so maybe they could conclude it with a second lead love line but with a BL twist.
Overall, I am a little disappointed by the direction of the series in progressing the main relationship but I am glad to say that it is another kdrama that I have successfully sat through.
Anyway, ep 7 is ok and why dont he just walk with the bear suit instead :) I know its a lot of zombies but better than risking the fall for. Zombies have no regard for damage to body so 1 breaking the fall doesn't mean safe to jump with the suit pad. However, suit look thick enough to not get a bite which they can't break with just teeth.

Lowkey, he didn't make it clear that he loves Seonghyeon to everyone, didn't distance himself against Suhyeon, after all those years mustering the courage to confess to psycho and got rejected so likely to partly consider Seong Hyeon as a rebound. Dude got no initiatives and just reactive in everything. Not his fault his life is manipulated by Jaemin tho, but unfit to be in relationship if you are insecure.

Doha is the best characters amongst these mid imo. He understand his WH crush and got the courage to confess ep 1. Surprisingly, SML got the right amount of screentime ratio in the story. Yes he is the better man for FL, but he did not take too much screentime to elaborate their relationship as the FL only saw him as a childhood friend and he accepts it. This is what Kdrama SLs interactions should be in their relationship (not drama-making and diverging screentime from the main story).
SFL got a reasonable background (childhood friend with ML), reasonable actions (jealousy but not to the crazy harmful way), and is a well developed character. She is jealous, but ML betrayed her trust by hiding the truth as she waited for him to have courage to tell her. She is victim of circumstance of the FL actions and so ML has no rights to say that he forgives her in ep 8. She deserves better for being an understanding friend who got caught up with the FL disaster.
The last friend is great. He is a supporting character and rightfully so. This drama has done it right because not everyone's lives revolve around the main characters. He got his side story and that progresses his relationship in the friend group.

Students got multiple interests and groups rather than becoming the school's queen bee. Also, who was the owner of the admin phone? The pacing was reasonable until ep 7 and 8 because they have to rush out the ending, the forgiven, the exposing, etc. which I think they could do better with more screentime.
ACTING (remember this is my personal take):
Out of the 5 'main' characters, SML, male friend, and SFL have great expressions for the limited screentime they get. FL acting is either cringy or that is what the character is supposed to be as directed. ML got the worst case of plastic surgery acting because I don't think wide open eyes and some squinting counts for great expression as most of his emotions rely on the lines delivery.

Like I was going for HH getting his karma out by helping DH, but if they are debtor and debtee, then DH it would mean DH literally came and asked for his bully's help. No longer imposing his selfishness onto DH, respect boundaries of DH (even though he tried to go past it, he stopped when DH stepped back), and clearly has been helping DH to at least make up for his past bullying actions.
As for DH, I got nothing to say. He clearly has been enjoying how HH helps with his work life and maybe even personal life too, while being fully aware of HH feelings for him. Not that DH should forgive HH for bullying him, but why work with an ex/ex-bully for 12 years? Knows that JY is a taekwondo teacher next door yet never paid a visit? (unless he meant in general he didn't want to reconnect with JY which OMG you still have unresolved feelings, my dude.)
