I feel bad watching this drama. Ep 3 gave me a huge cringe feeling. The story is unbelievable, the plot is very bad written, fulled with very unrealistic scenes: for example Sun's fighting skill are very bad, and all the fighting scenes looks awkward and unreal. And there are more. Did you notice that Bank and Pitch were driving in the circle in ep3? They kept turning right with the car, and after that, they were lost. What? Watching this drama, the characters behavior, I just hope that teenagers watching this show won't think that's the way people act and feel in real life. I don't know what was the production's goal, but it's cringy. And cheap. I probably won't make it through ep 4, and it's a shame, 'cause I really loved the idea of BL with bodyguard and rich guy :P To people who disagree with me: you can hate me now and eat me alive. But it won't change my mind. This is a bad written and bad produced drama.
Still no trailer and the drama is supposed to be out in 3 days... I'm having doubts here
I doubt it will air anytime soon. Even though we usually don't get any specific air date and drama kinda pops out suddenly out of nowhere, China still releases trailers before the drama begins.
Some may hate me for this comment, but I need to confess... I watched ep 15 yesterday before going to bed, I cried, then I went to sleep and I had a dream where Doom became a very boring human without a job and because of that Tak Dong Kyung didn't want him anymore and they broke. Today I watched ep 16 and was like... the heck, he got the job! xD But he is still a human! Damn!
I haven't finished it yet, but I'm getting closer to the end and just wanted to leave the comment. Great romance, good pacing, great acting, great OST... China does know how to produce an enjoyable romance! Some people may be fed up with the body swap theme, but guys give it a chance and you won't be dissapointed! :) This is a great comedy with a healthy development of romance. Well done. Very well done :)
I put it on-hold on ep 10, because the main female lead annoyed me a lot. I picked it up two months later and actually I enjoyed it. It gets better and the main couple gets very cute.
Lmao, they get like 10% screen time. Idk why many people are saying this. Ji Na had just ONE scene with the 2nd…
I wrote this comment after watching ep 7. Their time screen was pretty long in this ep and I had to skip it. Too long. Not even fantasy related which is the focal point if the story.
There is so little to the plot that each episode chould be summarised using only one or two sentence and you still wouldn't miss anything. I somehow do enjoy the feelings, the colors are nice, the music, the actors play well, but I still can't see the reason why Doom - that's not a human (doesn't have human feelings) falls in love with a boring human girl. I could believe in interest or something platonic, but then why he feels such a human emotions toward her? He just spent some time with him. He's been living on Earth for thousands of years, observing people and suddenly he falls for a girl because he spent some time with her? Doom, man, you are so cheap XD
A female pretending to be a male is a common theme, and often the actress' make up still make her look girly enough that anyone in real life could tell the sex. Here they didn't make any effort to cover it. Dilraba looks too girly to pass as a boy - she has a full make up and looks beautiful, like a woman she is :( I wish they would try just a little harder to make it believable :(
It's a very light drama, full of romance, comedy and cliches. More like a guilty pleasure drama that you watch only for fun. And the episodes are only 35 minutes long. Give it a try. The story progresses fast, so you will know what to expect after watching the 1st episode.
