someone add drama to list of genre πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I added Drama and Psychological, let's hope MDL will change it, because I'm done saying the same thing for people who expect a cute romcom. πŸ˜‚

Its badly written...badly edited and the so called "fans" need to stop insulting people's intelligence…
I think you misunderstood something here. Just because I indurstood the story properly doesn't mean I'm a blindfolded fanboy. You can read my reviews. I rated many shows from my fave actors because of the bad writing.

I'm literally one of the few people here whos MAIN focus is the story, not the romance and kissing scenes or the chemistry.

If you don't like the drama why are you arguing with people and writing the same thing? Aren't you a bit obsessed?

Thanks for proving my point btw.

DID in a rom com is already a facepalm. Blame promotion department for promoting it as a romcom.
Again, it's not their fault if someone is ignorant. Just because a short trailer shows you something, doesn't mean that's the whole story.

Every label on Netflix is true btw. The show is charming, swwen-worthy and emotional. Maybe don't watch trailers anymore and you won't expect anyhting.

Lastly, if you watch the longer trailer, and pay attention, it's pretty easy to understand that this drama has a dark tone as well. Just like I said, most people don't pay attention and only see what they want to see. So, it's not the PR team's fault.

at first i love it but then miss girl had a whole DISORDER, Delusional Disorder or Multiple Personality Disorder…
That's not what happened. Even if you have "Psychology degree", let's say we believe you, doesn't mean you know everything about this disorder.

Maybe if you pay attention to the details, you'd realize, her personality didn't change, because she closed her eyes. People with DID usually changes "alters" when something happened to them. It's literally a SELF-DEFENSE mechanism. Did you actually finished your "Psychology degree"? If not, don't use it to validate your argument.

Also, it's a common misconception that people need doctors for healing. The so called experts are not much of a help, especially when it comes to DID. All they can do is give some medication.

If something is badly written I would be the first person who says it. You can see my faveorite actors list, and how low I rate some of their work because of the writing. This drama is well-written.

I question the intelligence of some people (if the shoe fits it's not my fault or my problem, btw) because they can't understand the most basic things. Even if it's spelled out. Just so you know, I'm a film editor, and a sound engineer and I didn't find any problem with the editing.

I don't have to defend anyone, because it's a known fact that so many Kdrama fans can't comprihend a story if it's a bit more complex than a typical romcom.

Compare this drama to others like "Dynamite Kiss", "When the Phone Rings", "Would you marry me", "Love Next Door" or "Lovely Runner". Now those are the ones with poor writing. And the funny things is, my faves are included in these shows as well.

Why should I blame the PR team when this is a romcom and people expecting the same old cutesy romcom? You can literally see the tags under the description. It's not their fault if someone is ignorant.

Maybe you have a bipolar personality just like your fav actress.i know who you’re fan of,so stop acting like…
I have many faves kiddo, not sure what you're talking about. Maybe educate yourself first before you want to argue with someone.

Just because I'm a fan doesn't mean I have to be a blindfolded idiot and rate everything 10/10 just because my fave actor is in it. I'm not sorry for having higher standards than the typical Kdrama fans who only want cutesy and childish romance without any properly written stories.

I think you're the one who has a bipolar personality.

episode 6 already and still the FL keeps chasing ML like no dignity? For real? Please we are living in 2026 and…
There's a reason why she's doing that, and it's not like ML doesn't do the same. That's the main reason she's keep "following" him. The drama is very realistic in may ways.
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 18, 2026
So, now people say Hojin and Muhui talking too much? Seriously what the hell? #facepalm

This is why I said, you have to pay attention to the details. This is not your typical cutesy romcom. Why is it so hard for so many people to pay attention? Just because this is labeled as a "Comedy" and "Romance" on MDL doesn't mean it's nothing more than that. This is a Kdrama, if you watched more than 1 you should know pretty much every Kdrama have multiple genres not just two.

There's a reason they're talking about the same thing many times. Even the english title says it all. The ML's uncle or whoever was that literally said, everyone using their own language and you have to pay attention to understand them.

That's the whole point of the show. It's realistic because in real life people talking about the same things over and over again, and many reletionships (not just romantic) failing because people don't listen and understand each other.

I honestly think MDL should put a massive RED WARNING SIGN in every romcom that has a darker element or more mature and complex than typical romcoms.

People watching it on 2x speed and skipping scenes, and proceed to blame the writers and even the editors, because they can't comprihend what's happening. MADNESS!

Not annoying at all. They handled the love triangles pretty well. I wouldn't even say it was a real love triangle.
Please use spoiler. Also, I wouldn't say she chose him, she was just messing with him.πŸ˜…

People who "watch" something at 2x speed or skip scenes they should drop it or just shut up honestly.
You can report reviews but not sure if the mods are doing anything about it.

I'm pretty sure the English CC is usually the dub version, that's why it's not that good.
I translate English to my own language, so unless you're Hungarian, you probably didn't see any of my work.πŸ˜…

But I do work as a sound engineer and film editor, so you might have seen BTS's Suga latest concert movie. I was basically a QC (quality control).

Yes, I do, but mostly for cinemas and other smaller companies. Sometimes I do work for streaming platforms as well if they don't want to mess with AI.

"too complex" its just the usual kdrama trope using childhood trauma as an excuse to be an asshole and…
When I said "complex" I was talking about some hardcore complex story. Not who you're talking about as an "asshole", but after 5 episodes I don't think anyone on this show is an asshole. Childhood trauma is a serious thing, and not just a simple trope IF it's done right.

less cringe or not?? coz kdrama like dynamite kiss, wow Im just skip skip skip..i cant handle it..always have…
After 5 episodes it's not cringe at all. It's a lot of fun, but don't expect top-tier writing tho. I think it's safe to say, if someone loved "Hotel del Luna" they will might love this one as well. The writing is similar to that.

I wouldn't say this is mature like "Love Scout" but definately more mature than "DK" and they didn't do much with the love triandles yet, so it's not irritating.
