I know it's late. But if you are still interested here is the link https://www.256wenku.com/read/6390/ Translate it in google, but still many times during the reading you have to make sense of the sentences 'cause the english grammar is not perfect.
In the Novel it happens somewhat to the effect that the ML goes the Military only after his aunt lured him with the promise that she would arrange for a marriage between him and FL after his return. 'Cause that way his (ML's) father would be more receptive to the proposal. The father was angry at the son for treating FL badly. But yes, things didn't work this way in the drama. So the synopsis isn't right for that. The ML in the drama is much tamer (until now) than what he is in the Novel.
AOL is my all time favourite !! LAR I dropped out of boredom. The ML especially bored me to hell. He was introduced as all powerful but I got tired of waiting for him to do something and kick some ass as opposite to being beaten to pulp, getting injured, vomitting blood. It was repeatitive and drained all my interest out.
Finished this drama today. It was nothing special though I had hopes for it. By the end, the only character that had me watching it was, Lee Rang. His character had much more depth and development than anyone else in the story.
Sociophobia is the debilitating fear of being judged, so itβs all-encompassing. And it does develop from one…
Such trauma in adulthood is very rare, because by that time one's character and mental health has already developed. You become more adept at handling such situations. And not let it handicap you lifelong. Whereas, in childhood, or early teens you aren't mentally strong. And remember, the older the disease, the harder it is to cure. That's why writers prefer to show trauma happening during younger years. It gives depth to the story and becomes more impactful when a Lead shows courage to overcome it.
Where did you read it? Is it available in english ?
Okay, thanks. And yes, I do believe they might mellow his character for Drama audience. But I don't mind seeing Shawn in this role. I think he is very, very impressive as an actor and if anyone can do this role a justice, than he is the one.
