I enjoyed this drama for its fun, sweet story with a bit of revenge angle, but, there is no real romantic tension between the main leads, not until half of the drama is almost gone. Even in those few scenes, the FL was more admiring of the ML. The ML did not find out the FL is a girl until the last few episodes. So yeah, if you are looking for whirlwind romance then nope, this is not it. This is more a comedy with pink petals of wafting hints of love. You should still try it. Maybe u will like it.

I don't think RHJ is very much a shy guy. He's more reserved in personality. There has been 2 kisses until now both initiated by RHJ. A shy or inexperienced man would be almost unable to start that without fumbling. But he was quiet active on both times. The first kiss, we all know, was to save themselves from being caught by guards. But the second one, we have to remember, it wasn't a kiss of passion. It was more out of all the unresolved feelings he had been trying to push back until now for YSR. RHJ was probably thankful to her for saving his life, and he was finally understanding the depth of his own emotions for YSR, so that would have led him to kiss her. Well, this explaination is just my understanding of that sweet and reserved sort of kiss.
I think she did a lot until now. There aren't that many options. This is supposed to be North Korea after all…
The weather forecast was of a clear sky in the drama. They do repeat it two times. The storm was a sudden occurance. And I too think Seri's behaviour is apt to the situation she is stuck in. I guess as you said you are bored with this kind of plot maybe that's why you are irked by Seri.
I love, love Jin Mi with Phoenix. But I too back team Run Yu. He suffered so much and finally shattered into insanity. The writers have clearly put as much time in developing his character as they have spent shaping out the two main leads. I am excited about the coming of Ashes of Love 2, if that's correct news. I have read it's going to be the story of Xe Feng and Jin Min's Son. We will also know then what happens to Run Yu in latter years. Though I don't think he will be living a happy life. Still, if it were a peaceful one at least, that will be enough.
