A couple of exceptions:

Bad Buddy showed Pran and Pat as being verse (or riba). Love by Chance had a shorter more inexperienced top in Ae and Pete was taller with more experience.

Each episode is basically a few mini commercials with plot as filler. The ads are the main point. I am not sure why I am still watching but I paid for iQIYI for the month so might as well finish.

Agreed. Kamol becomes enamored with Kim because of his high pain tolerance but also his enjoyment of the pain. This concept did make across in the drama but not as effectively as in the book.

BDSM takes many forms. Kim is a novice. It should be expected to start light and work up. However, the bondage and sadomasochism depicted were not researched well. I wonder if they had an actual consultant but I think not.

Kamol basically wore Kim down. It was under the pretext of getting to know each other better.

Best Cdrama that I have seen in a while. Drop what you are doing and watch this show. The FL is now my favorite C-drama lead. It has a really slow enemies to lovers vibe. The ML and FL have excellent chemistry though there is very little skinship which was fine with me. I honestly did not miss it. Those two fight like cats and dogs for nearly half the drama and its hysterical.

The ML is arrogant, childish, and bad-tempered (at first) and the FL manages him expertly. In one scene he demands tea and she makes him coffee because she knew that's what he really wanted. The character development is very satisfying.

The show truly maximized being shot on location in Shanghai. The city skyline views are just gorgeous. The characters walk along the Bund and it feels like you are right there with them. Maybe that is because I spent some time in Shanghai and fell in love with the city.

Praew seems more like someone with Borderline Personality Disorder. Any perceived rejection has a disproportionate rage response.

It makes complete sense if you see each episode as one long commercial for a product.

The series seems to designed around the product placement. Ads are driving plot line and the love story is added in around the products i.e. amusement park, skin care, cafes etc.

It was beautifully shot but you are 100% correct on the mechanics. The angles were off or that magnum was unrealistic in its reach. Pool water is not sufficient "moisturizer".

I can see what you are saying. I think the background music was louder than necessary and it would have been better to let us hear the natural sounds of breathing etc. Also, I think it was striving to be too artistic with camera angles. I did appreciate the lighting though.

It was most definitely a "gotcha" smile. I slowed the speed down to really watch that smile of Vegas's face. Now, Pete's smile was very self-satisfied. Now when Vegas stares into Pete's face at the end, he is showing all kinds of emotions. He is mesmerized and unsure.

Pete gets caught by Vegas and is held captive. Vegas tortures Pete which releases his masochistic side. Sometimes I wonder if Pete doesn't develop Stockholm Syndrome. Vegas falls in love as Pete because Pete accepts all his personalities. Pete loathes himself for wanting to be with Vegas.
