I’m now in the 20 something episodes. To say this drama is working me is putting it mild. It’s getting to the point of how many more twist and turns can you do with 2 men vying for her. But let’s talk about what she did based on hearing what a bird said. Fake death!!!!! Really? Based off of a bird! Come on. She should have been smarter than that. I mean she went so far to pull in her little brother, aunt for this ridiculous scheme. All to leave? Let’s be clear, no one else in the whole area contracted TB. I mean it just pop up and ran rapid through the whole family. The maid who was close to her miraculously did even have a slight cough, nothing. No one told the dad what was going on? Than the emperor, why at some point did he not secretly find a way to tell her what was
up? Now we have to see her show her “fake” love for him and agrees to marry him again only to try and kill him. Wedding called off. Then she loses her memory and he goes blind. All this before she is in her mid 20s!

Agreed. Are you taking this bird serious? Ok, didn’t the doctor say the bird couldn’t talk for 3 days? Well, he started that night. This drama could be so much better. Oh, did you notice he had not given her a kiss yet? This was the same thing with Unchained Love. No kisses! 🤔

I'm up to episode 18 and this drama is stressing me out. I cannot understand why people cannot talk about issues. He takes off because he is called back to the capital to cook, Seriously? He lost his position and is a commoner and they want him to come back to cook? So, now he puts his plan into play with Song and emperor only to have his parents killed. Like at some point don't you think he could have told her who he was? The 6th prince that was suppose to get the throne? Looking at the upcoming episodes it gets only worse from "fake death" to "blindness" and Song deceiving her for 2 years. That takes you up to episode 24.

Exactly. But let us be clear, EK does not have to have the life she has. She chose to have it. She could have always said no to BD and moved on; but she didn't. Is that BD's fault? No. BD is now trying to make her way in paying off the debt her father incurred and have a thriving business. The situation with her EK's boyfriend, I have no words for that because she was just plain and simple an idiot. No woman, that I know, would put up with 4 years of that. Everything that has happen to her is of her own making and choosing, no one else's. I thoroughly agree with you with saying that BD does not deserve to have her life destroyed in this way. This is way over the top. But let me tell you, when BD does wise up, hell hath no fury. She is going to get her I believe and good. I can't wait. Oh, and when CW finds out...it is so on!

Do we think that BD will wise up? Do we think that she might go so far and get in EK's ex? Remember he wanted to tell her about how EK felt towards her husband. I think this is going to be a wild ride. EK has to get caught in all her traps and lies.

Here is what I don't understand, she didn't want to be with ML because he hesitated and she didn't want to be with him yet it was ok that SML basically did the same thing. Really?

I have to agree. Her acting is just bland to me. She is making me cringe just watching her.

I binged this in 2 days. Can we just say the Queen is ALL that? I love when she sits down, props up her leg and starts strategizing. She knows what is up and is ahead of the game. This is so good.

Do you think the Queen is going to tell Kang that his girl is not going to be on the Dowager side? I think she just said what she could to marry him.

My sentiments exactly shadowdreamer. I understand everything is not reported but you mean NO ONE knew he died. There wasn't an email to the employees letting them know of his passing. I find this very strange as you do. I am so annoyed with the lack of communication especially by him and her too. I would have gotten in my car after 7 days and faced him. I mean find out. Someone has to give, I get it she has done a lot but if you love the man, go find out. Oh, and her mother even said she would find out. Now, don't you think if they were concerned that she would look into it. I'm sorry but some news should have gotten back to her about him dying.

I am watching this currently on Fresh Drama and at episode 24. I am so annoyed by both these women fighting over this man. It is pathetic. Shen Yu and her constant whining, hysterics, whispering voice and crying are enough to drive me away from her. Oh, can we please just drop the wrist band on the arm? Gu Xia Wei is so conniving, screaming and just an all-around bitch! She has a perfectly good man that keeps doing things for her but wait, let's try and see if we can get Hua Wei Lin, who we KNOW is in love, no matter what with Shen Yu! Hua Wei Lin is such a weak man. Come on and step up and for once speak up! He lets both of these women just ride right over him. He never defends his position. Even when they got married, they never told their parents to just leave them alone. They were also the factor that caused so many issues. I don't know how this will end since it has 36 episodes. It is cringe worthy to watch but since I started it, I have to finish it. If I had to do it all over again, not sure I would.

Just finished the first 6 episodes. Only 15, is there a season 2?
