He always knows what is going on. He is in the shadows somewhat, being the least likely to suspect.

Gives her, her card and says maybe we can meet again. Huh? Like you still NEVER answer any questions. So annoying. And why did we have to see Park jogging, what was that purpose, oh, to show that stupid coin again that she threw in the river after Sangsu and her broke up. How many people have run by, and she is the ONLY one that sees it....(roll eyes)
Pil is just hidden in one of the bank branches not wanted to amount to anything more. Jung is a police officer and has a gf. Sees AYS crossing the street and salutes her because he said when he became a cop, he would...wow!
I have never despised someone more than AYS. She was the most emotionless, pathetic woman that seriously deserved to be alone. She will never find happiness because she is not willing to open up to anyone. Why name your place "future happiness" because guess what? You will NEVER find it because you are emotionally shut down individual. She NEVER EVER took a step to Sangsu at all. It was always him going to her, stepping to her and continuously apologizing for his hesitation. Ok, we couldn't move on from that. Guess not.
Then we want to go over the stupid "what ifs?" Come on. We wasted so much time regurgitating all of their history together, which, "hello" we know so why you could not figure this out? It took walking up this hill and 4 years without speaking to come to closure between you two.
The ending line about her asking did you forget anything today, which to me, he was referencing the fact of their relationship that he did not forget any part of it. Weak ass ending! The writers should be literally slapped. You build up all of this to gives us.... wait for it...NOTHING. I cannot!
All these conversations were in circles never clear, cut and concise. It was some cryptic language that only the writer understood. AYS did this the most. Always talking in circles and never clearly stating anything. Never her thoughts, emotions...we got nothing from her. She was just a blank page with no words...

I am now on episode 16 and this is a very tiresome drama. Truthfully, I find this drama to be a bit messy. There is really no clear understanding on what her purpose is. To be the best in martial arts? She has died like what 3 times. It is the constant saving of each other. He saves her, she saves him. I mean how many times does this go on? The ML is continuously telling her to make better decision and she still keeps making bad ones. Every man wants her, I guess she is the only hero, even though it says "heroes." The FL "marbles in the mouth" talking drives me crazy. Her gullibility is beyond annoying.
Then the whole flower growing out of her head was so ridiculous. The best part was when he made her not talk. Then she couldn't walk and was hoping around. I mean some of this is just too silly.
Now they are on the run because the Tang clan infiltrated the valley and so they have taken off. Moving to the next few episodes, we now have his hair turn white! The regent finally gets her in his bed.
I was planning on dropping but Li Hong Yi, love him in everything he is in. He is only saving grace to this drama.

In episode 29 they are not revealing too much in the preview only to show that the red mist has taken over and Gu Qing Zhang is walking through the town. Hears a baby crying and picks him up...so, not sure what that means. But I will definitely watch and let you know...

In that recording, I think was the answer to what she wanted him to hear that she could not tell him face-to-face and that was that she was not worth the time he was giving her. She wants him to forget her and move on. Just my two cents on that.
I mean if he didn't believe she slept with Pil then why not listen to it. Because he didn't want to know the truth that she was really rejecting him. That this was a one-sided love, and he was not going to see the wedding that he envisioned.
Then we have Park, who gets transferred to Washington, in a blink of an eye. Oh, then someone says, "how long ago did you place your transfer?" Haha...probably just yesterday because she knew her dad would handle. Money speaks, thanks for the reminder. Us commoners would wait for years to get a transfer.
As far as ASY goes, I just find her utterly annoying for the following reasons: 1. She will never answer a question but respond with a question. 2. The look of "deer in headlights" is annoying. 3. Never shows any emotion one way or the other. 4. She is so self-centered, and everything is about her feelings and her emotions. She finds out about what really happened with regards to her brother's death. Semi-apologized to her dad for thinking he was the one who was having the affair only to find out it was her mother. Never confronted her mother only to say, "let's get your leg fixed." 5. She never brings closure to anything. Walks away from everyone with no explanation which she feels no one is entitled to know. I mean you had two men who loved her. Both did not get any closure. Jung gets a "sorry." And Sangsu just gets the "one day" and lets just have some fun around the island, dinner, drinks, some deep kisses and I'm never seeing you again. This is the end for us.
Then the long look at the bus terminal was too much. So, were they doing telepathy saying we know we are never meeting again best of luck? I knew he was going to ask her to promise to call. She of course is lying because she said when she gets to Seoul she will. That could be 5 years from now. I feel bad for Sangsu because he truly loves her but, in her mind, she would say no one told you too.
I never liked her from the beginning because she has the poorest attitude to everyone she meets. The silence that she always gives is deafening. And who has a job where they just continually can show up to work or not. Most of us would have been fired.
In my opinion, they will NOT get together. l will be surprised if they do. Because at this point, it is now up to her to truly address her feelings. She needs to make the initial step to him and open up honestly to him saying that she wants him in her life. He is willing but she needs to decide if she is willing to truly open up emotionally to him. This is a woman who doesn't know who she is. Doesn't know how to interact with other people as well as be in a relationship. Sangsu is strong but she is frustrating due to not being willing to be that partner that he is willing to be for her. She doesn't know herself so how she can be with anyone, she seems to me that she is still figuring it out.
I can feel a weak ending for this drama that have given us more lows than highs. I had more expectations for this drama but at this point, I am disappointed.

With only 9 episodes left Gu Qing Zhang is going to show his true colors. He will be the one that is behind everything because he is from the same clan as Zang Ping. and there will be a rift again between Lan Jue and Zang Ping. Zang Ping tries to expose him, but Gu Qing Zhang is one up on him. Gu Qing Zhang does take over and Lan Jue agrees to work with him. Zhang Ping is blamed by Lan Jue for attempting to kill Gu Qing Ping. Zang Ping is sent to prisoner and is stabbed and presumably is dead. State funeral. The red mist is released. Wang Yan is set to the battlefield.
Liking this drama, a lot. Holds your interest. I like how everything has come together so far.

And that will take 13 episodes to wrap up the following: for him to discover that she is the long-lost friend he has been looking for, the locket around her neck he gave her (he has one too), to become the designer, to finally ditch the SML, for her to get her apartment back, to have controversy with the girl that likes ML, for ML to confess his feelings, to overcome his fear of the dark, for the other team to try to get rid of him, for her to save him and him to save her at one point, and to have more crying and rain scenes....

Honestly, this is a messy story to say the least. LHY can make any fur coat look good along with the outfit. He is so nice looking. But the FL, works my nerves. The "in the marbles" voice drives me insane. It really is not a solid story to say the least to me. I was getting confused as to what was her purpose now that I'm on episode 12.
