I've seen kdramas with some yellow and red flag MLs, but this ML has gotta be the biggest jerk out there. What a selfish idiot and what a pushover FL. Sad because the first ten episodes were actually good!
Lee Chaemin was properly scary as a villain! Considering he looked so cute and innocent in BAYM (maybe shot a few weeks after this one), we can safely say he is a versatile actor
I actually finished all 50 episodes! A very 2000s day time drama/telenovela feel with never a dull moment! Sometimes the new dramas are packed full of cliches and lagging middles, but this never lagged! I was shocked to find out it's a 2023 drama as it looked exactly like an early 2000s one. I enjoyed it and completed it, so that's something!
A toxic, gaslighting ML, multiple love triangles, every cliche you can imagine, but omg so so fun! It's so funny in parts, I never laughed (and cried) so much. Binge watched all 20 episodes in three days!
It's so funny how they used the same cast members in multiple roles - why waste time and money recruiting multiple small actors eh. Also I think episodes 19 and 20 were just the actors fooling around and playing games, still so funny.
Unnecessary backstory?😂 this is a character driven show. maybe you're just a person who prefers plot over characters…
There is no need to attack me, but it's nothing to do with plot versus character. There is no need for fire, arson, murder, etc etc in a business story. Normal businesses have enough challenges (and 'characters') without these over-the-top scenarios that have nothing to do with a business theme.
I wish the series focused on the business underdog success story and didn't devolve into revenge/interpersonal crises and unnecessary backstories. The business story itself would have been so inspiring to watch.
