I just finished ep 7 and I don’t have the same feelings a lot of ppl seem to be having which is despair and some even found it traumatic but while I feel sad for Makki I also feel sad for Mie. I genuinely believe Mie did this bc she didn’t want Makki and Eiji to break up and thought this was the best way. Throughout the past few episodes Mei has talked about how she’s scared of Makki going away and how she wants her time with him to last forever and I guess she thought this was the best way to keep Makki in her life. It’s also why she lied and told Makki the child was his when she knew that wasn’t the case. Then near the end of ep 7 she’s begging Makki not to hang up on her she can feel that he’s pulling away and he completely cuts both Eiji and Mie off. It’s just sad but I understand why he does. I think reading the comments ahead of time prepared me for ep 6 and 7 which is why I’m able to look at it from this perspective instead of being upset that Makki and Eiji didn’t end up together.
After all I just feel sorry for Da Bi, her mom is crazy and her father gives 0 f*** about her and only cares about…
I mean the CEO obviously cares about his daughter. He rushed to her everytime So Ra went into one of angers outbursts and he left all of his personal wealth in Da Bi’s name. We haven’t seen either of the children in the recent episodes tho. I’m also wondering why we never saw Sora and the CEO’s eldest daughter 🤔
LOLLL so many bitter comments and the review are totally gone bad now after EP 15!!! You guys seriously need to…
EXACTLY! It’s so annoying how Ra El is choosing the person she loves and wants to be with and everyone is raging in the reviews about this choice solely bc it’s not who they wanted her to choose. I mean a whole reviewer wrote out exactly how the writers could’ve made Ra El end up with SEP. Do we not want her to be happy?? She certainly deserves to be. Ppl got so entangled with the romance aspect of the show and picking sides and now we ended up here where the show isn’t over yet and ppl already hate it bc they’re ship didn’t work out. Weird.
I really don’t give af who Ra El ends up with honestly. I’m Team Ra El being happy. Everything that happened 13 years ago has been weighing heavy on her so if she’s happy with the chairman then she deserves a happy ending with her. I know a lot of ppl wanted him to die but that’s not a happy ending for Ra El bc she loves the man.
I’m sorry Jung In has got to be one of the most infuriating and contradicting FLs I have come across. She threw a big fit about not wanting to run away together only to bolt at every chance she got it’s insane. She’s cowardly and doesn’t have the will to fight for what she wants but she’s described as tough and bold all throughout the beginning on the show. Jung In doesn’t know what she wants but she does know that running away is the best option for her at any slight inconvenience. Lets not forget how everytime she runs away she stomps all over the ML’s feeling and sincerity with cold harsh words that I wouldn’t be able to forgive. And through all of that we’re supposed to want them to end up together? Yoongi might love Jung In with all of his heart but that doesn’t make me want to root for them when I know she might stomp on his heart again.
So it’s like I thought. Yoon Kyum didn’t know about really anything until it was too late. How tragic but he’s ultimately found out about some things and didn’t do anything about them (but Sora did lie to him so). Will this end with Yoon Kyum dying? We’ll see but it’s looking like the ending won’t be as happy as I hope.
Sadly, this wonderful show is also the kind of BL that will get little attention here on MDL, while garbage like…
You can praise one show without bashing another you know. Bad buddy was far from garbage which in my opinion is why it got as much hype as it did, a enemies to lovers trope done right. This show was wonderful as well :)
I think that if I watched the original I wouldn’t have like it as much as I did but bc I haven’t watched the original this show kept me on my toes and was a bit anxiety inducing. We’ll see what the next episodes bring
This is what "Vincenzo" could have been if they didn't turn it into some dumb comedy and if the actors actually…
Vincenzo was always supposed to be a dramatic comedy bc that’s what the writers had intended for it ! Both of these shows are good and neither were boring in my opinion
The reviews are over exaggerating and from the reviews I can see they started watching the show with a couple of misconceptions which is why they rated it the way they did. Don’t read the reviews to decide if you’ll watch Vincenzo or not bc it’s not an accurate depiction on this show (I just got done watching it and started it with hesitation bc of these reviews) This drama is AMAZING but before you get into it you should know this show is a first and foremost a dramedy (comedic drama). This show is HILARIOUS but it can and will get serious at important moments. Reviews that don’t get or understand the side characters and think they are unnecessary and annoying probably haven’t laughed a day in their lives. There characters aren’t meant to take seriously and are mostly there to help Vincenzo with his elaborate schemes. There isn’t a dull moment on the show and the main villain(s) are fun to watch as well. The exaggerated plans are not supposed to be realistic not everything is supposed to be realistic it’s a damn drama so it’s supposed to be fun to watch. The writers said they wanted the drama to be something others could get off from work and watch to relax which is what this drama is! It doesn’t take itself serious which makes it a fun watch. The acting is phenomenal and the story of certain characters made me feel for them. All in all this is a story of a (considered) bad guy taking his revenge on other bad guys which he does oh so satisfyingly every episode. Please watch ! You won’t regret it
Hmm from the perspective of someone who is only watching the show the VP story doesn’t seem rushed to me. I don’t understand this expectation of having your “favorite scenes” in the show bc from what I’ve seen a lot of the stuff in the original plot just was not going to be show. The writers of the show obviously had to adjust and make a story that they could fit in their time limit that was concise with the story and made sense and I think they did a good job at it.
The writers already planted the seed regarding Pete and him showing Vegas understanding. I can’t remember the episode number off of the top my head but I remember Pete having a conversation with Porsche explaining how he doesn’t believe there is such thing as heros and villains, saying basically that everyone has a story they makes them the way they are. I think THIS is the reason why Pete is able to show Vegas such understanding during the scene (which was my fave of the episode) after Pete saw the slap mark on Vegas’s face and they had a conversation regarding their fathers.
Now regarding Vegas…I’ve been contemplating why exactly Vegas freaked out after seeing Pete in such an awful state but ended up chucking it down to with Pete gone Vegas would’ve been more lonely than he already was. With all of the other ppl Vegas used he did it with a goal in mind but with Pete, Vegas only took him for entertainment and as someone to take his frustrations out on. Regarding him feeding Pete the noddles which is something else a lot of VP fans had a problem with too but I’m the show this scene makes sense. Specifically because it happened after Pete and Vegas had that conversation regarding the abuse they both faced at the hands of their fathers. In this scene Pete showed Vegas that his father takes in frustrations out on him because of his own failures and Pete’s words comforted him. He came back after suffering yet another beating from his father and said it didn’t hurt him as much as it usually does emotionally (because of the conversation they had earlier). THIS is why Pete was offered the noddles as a sort of gratitude thing which is very sweet (in a twisted way).
EDIT: This is definitely not Stockholm Syndrome because Pete is not fawning over Vegas (which is the psychological response to danger seen in Stockholm Syndrome victims). Pete does not love, trust, or look up to Vegas in any type of way. He just understands why Vegas acts the way he does because of his outlook on life is that there are no such thing as heros and villains. He also has been through something similar with his dad so he’s able to understand Vegas on a personal level as well regarding why he’s always comparing himself to Kinn and the main family.
Honestly, I wish they didn't put the kiss or noodles scene in this episode. I feel like they should have done…
Idk I feel like the noodle scene fit in perfect the episode strictly bc of the conversation they had before it. Pete helped Vegas understand that his father beating him wasn’t because he actually sucked but it was his father taking his failures out on his son (this scene was actually one of my favorite of this episode and it gives a bit of a backstory to Pete as well) . Because Vegas probably feels grateful to Pete he decided to give him the noodles and they will gradually get closer throughout the next ep. I think the only thing that really felt out of place for me was the kiss bc it was uncalled for and there wasn’t really a build up to it. I mean he had originally walked into the room to take out his frustrations on Pete and now he’s taking care of him and kisses him?
Erm…it’s not like the ML was studying to be a police officer…he was studying to become a prosecutor so of course he doesn’t know how to fight. It makes sense so I don’t think that it’s a plot hole but instead makes the storyline a bit more realistic. Of course he’s naive…he’s young so that’s not surprising either. He is a young man who entered the prison a little in over his head because he wanted to get revenge for the ppl he loved but as we saw from the beginning of ep 1 he succeeded somewhat in there. Just give it time before blatantly judging it.
Y’all are over exaggerating gahlee. I watched it just to see if it was terrible but it honestly wasn’t. What it was though was a complicated plot with too little time. Cramming all they could into each episode that was less than 30mins was down right impossible which is why it didn’t turn out great. The acting wasn’t bad either I actually enjoyed everyone’s performance so I don’t understand what the big deal is. Give this plot more time and more episodes and it would’ve been a decent drama and that’s the hill I’m willing to die on !
Everyone says that this reminds them of the BeLoved in House series but this is definitely giving me We Best Love vibes idk. I’m enjoying this so far but then again I tend to love Taiwanese bls usually lol
