Many wanted Seulki to end up with Jinyoung so I doubt it is scripted. I wonder why so many viewers think Seulki’s choice had to do with a script when in my opinion it’s one that made the most sense? She chose someone who was 100% in on her over someone who wasn’t completely sure until the last moment. Many in Seulki’s position would’ve chosen Jongwoo as well.

I know all that which is why I acknowledged that it’s not her fault and the hate is unnecessary. While not my fav out of the cast I definitely don’t hate Seulki by any means . You probably like Seulki bc you feel the same way about her. It all comes down to who you vibe with and many international watchers vibe with Nadine just like the Korean watchers for example vibe more with Seulki. I agree regarding the hate thing bc I do think it gets too much at times but I think a lot of it stems from the uneven screen time between the girls. Is it Seulki’s fault she gets all that screen time? No but ppl take out these frustrations on Seulki instead of the producers.

Because of him giving her mixed signals it confused her and hurt her feelings which in my opinion just isn’t okay. It’s not that she thought she could make him suddenly like her but he didn’t outright reject her but instead gave her some hope. Obviously since she liked him she had her blinders on towards how he was acting towards her in the beginning BUT because she’s not completely clueless she was slowly able to grasp the situation on her own.

Nah sorry not buying the whole “oh in this culture being straight forward isn’t the norm” when we just saw Seulki in the same episode being straight forward with Dongwoo. I’ve watched a lot of these Korean dating shows and the contestants have been pretty straightforward with someone they don’t like romantically if asked about it. Why? Because being strung along sucks more than being told no. But like I said I understand that he didn’t want to hurt her however going about it they way he did strung Soe along and hurt her even more. Also he was acting one way but saying things like “I’ll think about it and tell you when the time is right” isn’t a rejection but any means so of course Soe thought she still had a shot bc she liked the guy. A response like that gave her hope for a shot with him and that was Yoongjae’s fault plain and simple.

I don’t think she was trying to guilt trip him. She just wanted a straight answer from him which is something he never gave her. At the end of the day telling it to her straight would’ve solved the problem. When you look at the convo between Hanbin and her she says she can FEEL that Youngjae has chosen Seo-Eun. Why would she have to feel that rather than him tell her that. My biggest problem was that they had many conversations and he never straight up told her “nah leave me alone I don’t feel anything for you” He said things like “ when the time comes I’ll let you know how I feel or” “I want to talk to other ppl as much as possible” doesn’t stringing Soe along feel ridiculous at this point? During their convo at the end of ep 6 the one who put an end to everything was Soe. She straight up asked him “by other ppl don’t you mean So-eun?” Sorry I get the fact that Youngjae was scared to hurt her feelings but stringing her along just hurt her even more.
While Nadine is my fav I just don’t find it possible for her to end up with someone. For 1 she’s so nice that she just gives up opportunities for private convos to other girls and runs away like??? Also bc she lives abroad I think that’ll push the male contestants on the show away from viewing her as a viable option. Imma keep watching for her tho !

Yea it’s simply because I can’t trust him that I don’t like the idea of them together. We don’t know who’s side he’s gonna choose Yeong Jin or Do Eun. At the end of the day Do Eun stated that she needs his wings meaning his power to aid in her revenge so the ball is basically in his court. I’m just ready for season 2
I don’t want Do Eun to end up with Do Young. And I don’t think that’s something she plans on doing either. I don’t think she’s gonna pursue anything until her revenge plan is over with and even then she’ll probably end up with Yeo Jung with is something I would prefer. Yeo Jung understands her pain and her rage as he feels the same regarding his father’s murder. Okay I think I’ve figured out why I don’t ship MDE and Do Young. I can see where y’all are coming from with the chemistry between them however, Because I’ve been watching it with MDE’s mindset Do Young just feels like a territory on the GO board that Do Eun has to take over. She just needs him to help accomplish her goal. Because of that the idea of them being together just never crossed my mind/ doesn’t make sense for Do Eun’s character. There’s also the fact that I just can’t trust the guy. He’s gonna choose the option that benefits him the most and we don’t know whose side he’s gonna take. We’ll see.

I think that what really solidified for me that Korn was the bad guy all along happened in the last episode. You see when he faked his death Kim said some very important words. When they were waiting for the doctor regarding their father’s condition Kim basically said “if he dies you know what will happen” basically hinting at the fact that the major and minor family will go to war. Many ppl on both sides will die. Obviously Korn knows this but decided to fake his death anyways. I think his ultimate goal was to kill Gun, Vegas’s dad, bc he’s the only one left that knows/remembers what actually happened to Porsche’s parents as well as bc he wants to completely crush the minor family and keep them from acting out ever again. He also gets to completely dead Porsche’s suspicion of him and come out looking like the hero.
No update on Jaebeom and no making it clear whether or not Gisung is dead but sure give us an update on that red…

No update on Jaebeom and no making it clear whether or not Gisung is dead but sure give us an update on that red bracelet Sooheon was given just 1 episode ago 🙄. Gisung falling off the roof was fine because parallels I guess but it wasn’t satisfying. I also think Jaebeom’s ending was unsatisfying as well because at the end of the day he was gaslighted and murdered someone who didn’t even do anything wrong all because of Gisung. It’s the fact that Jaebeom got into this mess because he was trying to help Wonseok get out of the situation he was in with Gisung. That makes me really sad actually. Also the DID storyline was irritating bc while it was well acted it wasn’t written to completion. Like that story felt rushed and Jaebeom’s story in my opinion came to a swift end (when in my opinion it was the most interesting storyline in the last few episodes). Jaebeom and Gisung’s characters never got closure and that’s the biggest gripe I have with the ending of this show. Lastly, Chanmi annoyed me bc it’s like girl…you want your moment so bad you track down your brother’s murder and show up ALONE just to get beat the hell up??? Can we please THINK for a second??
