Title Revenge of Others Spoiler
Okay so that story Gi Sung told Jaebeom was a lie since Wonseok was with Chanmi on that day but it couldn’t have been a complete lie…Gi Sung probably substituted his name with Wonseok’s but why did he try to kill Jaebeom?
Wonseok’s other personality is definitely trying to tell him something and instead of harm it’s probably trying to help. I think this personality might match the one his twin brother who passed away had. That would explain what he meant when he told Chanmi that one day he was able to acknowledge his brother’s death bc it feels like his brother is always there right next to him. Since his brother looks like him this could’ve been a way he coped with his brother’s death.

Sorry, I really think he didn’t love Consort Hwang. I think he did love both his mother and Uiseong though because he was going to be his heir. If he loved her he would’ve consider her his family but when talking about his family the only names he said were his mother and his son. Also, if he loved her he would’ve told her in advance who he was. He didn’t AND he killed her father. Consort Hwang was definitely tricked and used but I can’t really feel bad for her. For one her son would be an awful king who wouldn’t have the citizens best interests in mind, he also is cruel as we can see how he without hesitation killed Physician Kwon, and he isn’t the king’s son in the first place but for some reason she felt like the title of crown prince was something that was owed to him, that it was a title he deserved and that just wasn’t the case. Her own greed as well as her son’s played a part in why she ended up in this predicament and here we are. Her father is dead, her son murdered his own father, and the man she loved is not only dead but she found out he was just using her the whole time. Physician Kwon revenge was one that was misguided and he ended up killing someone who was completely innocent. That’s where he went wrong. More than enacting revenge on those who killed his brothers instead he was starting the cycle all over again. If his plan worked from the jump I have no doubt the sons of the Queen would’ve been killed just like what happened previously the cycle of revenge would’ve repeated.

Jaebeom might be slowly regaining his memory but hasn’t fully yet. I think once he fully regains his memory that’s when everything will fall together and get crazy 👀
Also from the summaries of up and coming episodes on Hulu , around ep 11 is when Jaebeom fully recovers his memories. It doesn’t seem like he’s a good person and his personality is starkly different from the one we see now.!

Looking back at ep 7 he might’ve done this to keep Jaebeom from trying to find more out about his relationship with Wonseok. He thinks it’ll make Jaebeom want to stop digging deep and recovering his memories….

I definitely think O Sung trying to mislead or manipulate Jaebeom with the pictures he gave him. I mean who the hell tells someone not to trust their own memories?? However it looks like they were all friends so what happened? Why did it turn out this way? Why does it seem like nobody else knew just how close the 4 of them were? It’s weird because I feel like if others knew this would’ve been brought up already but it haven’t. Sejin didn’t mention that the 4 of them hung out at all to Chanmi either which is weird because wouldn’t he want her to know?

I am at the end of ep 7 and ok so considering the ringtone the killer is either Osung or jaebeom who happened…
I don’t think it’s O Sung . The killer frames others for the murders that he/she commits and stole and O Sung said that his phone was stolen (it matches up with the day that Chanmi got the phone call from her brother’s phone. The killer is obviously trying to frame him. It could be Jaebeom and instead of 6 months he was only in a coma for 3 and killed Wonseok with his family covering it up for him. But that’s the only way it could be him. However if that is the case it would have to be Jaebeom’s other personality who did it because I don’t think he’s faking his condition of amnesia. I honestly want the killer to be someone we absolutely don’t expect and I think these two would be too obvious but we’ll see.

where did people make the male characters gay?i feel like jaebeom wanted to get closer with sooheon maybe because…
Hm this probably has to do with a theory I have regarding Woonseok and Jaebeom’s relationship. I think it’s a possibility considering how Woonseok said he was dating someone and they went out to eat seafood and that picture in the stables. Them dating could why Gi Sung was able to blackmail Wooseok and also why Jaebeom decided to commit suicide but it’s only a theory. They could’ve just been best friends but commited a crime and Gi Sung found out about it which is another theory someone made. But these are just theories lmao

Isn’t it possible he subconsciously went to the stables bc of that picture that someone planted in his room? Until he saw that picture he didn’t even know who Woonseok was but that picture probably set off a light switch in his head and made him go to the stables. Now that you mention it why did he decide to kill himself in the stables, a place that held memories with Woonseok? There’s a reason for that.

For the first point I’m pretty sure Jaebeom found out the person who attacked Chanmi was Gisung and we found out the person who ran away at the beginning of ep 5 was the cafe guy. So why he decided to get close to Sooheon is still a mystery to me. The cafe guy has no reason to want to kill Woonseok from what we know about their relationship now but it could be cover up so that’s still a possibility at the moment. At this point in time however I’m fairly certain Sooheon isn’t the killer and I’m slightly certain that Jaebeom isn’t the killer either.?

I have a feeling that he lied about his girlfriend and he had a boyfriend, but I'm not sure... Maybe this boy…
If he had a boyfriend it would’ve been Jaebeom. Just a hunch I have. There’s a reason why Gi Sung is hiding Jaebeom and Woonseok’s relationship, had a one up on Woonseok and was able to manipulate him and why during the second semester Gi Sung could no longer control him (probably bc Jaebeom tried to kill himself)

I wrote this in a previous reply but I’m just gonna leave it under my own as well:
So far it’s very apparent to me that the biggest villain here is definitely Gi Sung. He manipulates ppl into doing what he wants them to do and gets jealous when others hang around Jaebeom. He’s the highest on my sus meter and even if he didn’t kill Wonseok he probably knows who did it. I’m now curious about what exact relationship Wonseok and Jaebeom had? Boyfriends? Bestfriends? They were obviously close and I’m pretty sure the one Wonseok went traveling with was definitely Jaebeom. But why did he try to kill himself? Why does Jaebeom think he killed him? Wonseok died 3 months ago but Jaebeom tried to kill himself 6 months ago so what’s with this timeline of events?
Another thing that made me scratch my head a bit is why did Jaebeom all of a sudden decided to get close to Sooheon? That was a little weird to me I’m not even gonna lie. It was kinda out of nowhere tbh.

Yes it is obvious that he is a bully and he is pretending to be nice. There is no memory loss, and even if there…
Considering the timeline of things it would be hard for him to be the killer but not impossible. He tried to kill himself and was in the hospital for 6 months but Wonseok looked surprised to see whoever walked into the lab so it could’ve been him considering the fact that we now know they were close. He also revealed that he recovered a memory so he definitely has memory loss but we don’t really know why. Maybe it’s bc something traumatic happened that he wanted to forget.

I keep coming back to the comment section bc I have a lot to say. I don’t hate Beom Seok bc to some extent I understand not him or his actions but I understand what he was feeling. I understand where he was mentally during the last few episodes but that doesn’t make his actions right and I don’t know l whether or not he’ll appear again but if he doesn’t I still want him to somehow heal.

For those who read the manhwa I just looked up the characters and doesn’t it seem like instead of Stephen Ahn they modeled Ahn Soo Hoo after Ben Park??

I’m hearing that ASH hasn’t appeared in the manhwa after Shi-eun changed schools but I’m also hearing that the drama adaptation is starkly different from the manhwa. I really liked this drama and the acting was 10/10. It was really hard for me to understand Beom Seok’s character the last few episodes but I think I kinda get it. OBS has been lonely his whole life. He was an orphan, he was adopted by an abusive asshole, and he wasn’t even able to escape that abuse at school where he was bullied. He was finally able to make some friends (strong ones at that) but because of everything he had to go through that made him insecure in his relationships in this case ASH and YSE. A girl he had never hung out with before is suddenly best friends with his only friends and she’s all of a sudden in the group. He’s probably thinking “where did she come from? When did they get so close? Why didn’t I know that they hung out? Why are they hanging out without me? “ and those insecurities ate away at him. ASH is also slow to grasp these situations compared to YSE bc YSE knows exactly how OBS feels. ASH hasn’t so he doesn’t know what’s wrong with OBS and thinks he’s just in a pissy mood. OBS feels betrayed but why only by ASH why not YSE as well??? Well YSE would check up on him bc he knows something was up and OBS felt more understood thus felt more secure in his relationship with him. ALSO lets not ignore the fact that OBS was JELOUS of ASH. He’s a cool guy with followers on social media and he can fight. You see OBS is a guy filled to the brim with anger and resentment but he physically can’t do anything about it compared to ASH who isn’t an angry person but if he does get angry is fully able to do something about it. OBS decided to target all of his resentment and anger onto ASH but it was only after what he did to ASH that he realized it wasn’t what he wanted. Unfortunately it was too late.
I hope when season 2 comes out it continues not to follow the manhwa I quite liked the direction this drama went in. This second season will probably be YSE dealing with the bullies in his new school but I wish we could go even deeper into YSE and OBS’s lives. OBS is a bitch but a troubled one and I want him to heal. I want him to heal mentally and then I want him to apologize. Only then can he move on.
