So far it's not a bad series but if there was a series to take advantage to bring a dramatic toxic and messy story…
I second this opinion. What made the first season so good was that everyone was so messy and morally grey. This season the only morally grey characters so far are Raffy and Dean but even Dean seems like a watered down version of what he could be. I’m finding the conflicts this season too vanilla for the show that I know it wants to be and because of that that only interesting parts from this recent episode comes from the Tua and Arnold storyline (which only got interesting bc Boston is now involved). The Raffy and Rome storyline could go somewhere but this episode was just mid for this pairing and lastly the Dean and Jack storyline so fair is the most boring out of all the pairs which breaks my heart to say for a number of reasons. I just hope this season picks up at some point. The vibe is completely different from the first season. The removed what made the show so great (the messiness of it all) and simply upped the sex/intimacy scenes
As the sole Eum Hyeok Jin enjoyer in these comments I just want to see him and Han Gyeol on a date just one time to see how they vibe bc their texts to each other were cute
Mina.......I dont understand about your feelings?? you switch so easily? If it were me I would same person no…
See I understand keeping your options open but I would more so do it in the same way Go-Eun is doing it. She has two ppl she’s interested in and they seem to be the main ppl she is pursuing. Mina on the other hand is choosing and changing her number 1 at the drop of a hat. All that’s doing is confusing the ppl that are interested in her and ultimately it’s gonna leave somebody hurt.
It's the eye rolling that rubbed me the wrong way. Initially I thought she was a breath of fresh air. Boy, was…
Like I caught her vibe shifting when Min-Gee walked in and it initially rubbed me the wrong way but I decided to just ignore it and see how the next few episodes played out. I was started to like her a bit again after ep 3 but episode 4 made her fall all the way down on my list. Like her pick me energy during the Truth game was through the roof 😭
Tbh I’m not one to hate on the woman contestants but Mina I’m just not feeling right about like…she doesn’t seem genuine at all and I can really guess why she came on the show. Obviously everyone came here for fame right? But with her there’s the fame part but she also has this pick me energy about her that just rubs me the wrong way. She doesn’t care about the feelings of anyone but her own. There’s being selfish in love and then theres just being selfish. Mina is the latter. Maybe self centered is the better word for it. I’m gonna give her another week before I put a definite stamp on how I feel about her but…that preview was not looking good for her either 😭😭
Officially dropping until we get a new storyline bc the ppl who previously knew each other are just getting back together. What is this? Transit Love?? 😂😂
I don't mean this in any rude or disrespectful way..... is Thee on the spectrum??
I’ve literally been saying this since the 2nd episode. It’s probably unintentional but his character’s actions make a lot more sense if this was the case.
The show falls off a bit past the half way mark (around ep 7-8) and gets too preachy for my liking. The acting thought was great. I was able to get the plot twist simply bc the backstory didn’t add up at all too me lol. Solid 7/10 though
Yea no. The viewers know the PA ostracized players and eliminated them. The whole point of the argument is that…
In Eunyu’s case I don’t think that’s true. When talking to Harin she literally says that Justin was right in that she chose to help Jiyoung when she should’ve helped him during the game. Even though she doesn’t completely own up to leaving Justin out of the plan he created she acknowledges that she understands why he felt betrayed by her. Also Eunyu didn’t do all of that and then later on in the season claim he’s against betrayal/ganging up on one person. Not comparable.
I admit I thought you were talking about viewers with the insecure part but I still don’t agree that the way Hyungyu talks only comes across as harsh to ppl who are insecure. Regular everyday people in SK who watched this program said the way Hyungyu spoke was rude. Implying that HJ is insecure because he doesn’t like to be spoken to rudely is an insane take but okay…It’s okay to admit the man isn’t cautious about how he speaks to others. Doesn’t make him a bad person probably just means the guy doesn’t have high EQ. I think you’re trying to make Hyungyu look like a better player than he was when you say things like “the way he spoke was apart of his masterplan” bc did HE say that? Or did you make that up in your head?? Horrible person? No. But do I want to see him on a program like this ever again? Absolutely not 😭
Hyun Gyu is consistently a top player and is definitely the deserving winner for this season! All those comments…
Yea no. The viewers know the PA ostracized players and eliminated them. The whole point of the argument is that KH sat on his moral high horse and acted like doing that was against his character/how he wanted to play when he’s been doing it this whole game and benefiting from it. When the players from the PA did it at least they stood on it and admitted that that’s what they were doing. I get it you like Hyungyu !! But there’s a reason why so many ppl felt he came off negatively. That may not be the case for YOU but to chuck it up to ppl being insecure is delusional. The way he talked to/about certain players he felt like were beneath him was uncalled for. I actually think Hyungyu deserved to win bc he was able to pick out the right simps (KH and SH) to bring to the end and he actually played to win. KH and SH on the other hand simply cared about how they would come across to the audience (look how that backfired lol) and about handing Hyungyu his win on a silver platter. Just a waste of a spot why even come to play the game in the first place?
This is definitely just a personal thing that has nothing to do with the actual show but it annoys me how much…
?? Justin most definitely tries to speak in Korean when he can and its been showcased numerous times where he's tried to communicate to the rest of the cast in Korean but it's very obvious that while he can understand when being spoken to in Korean for the most part (though not fully) he's not that good at speaking in Korean. I mean the man thought that in the first game 7high was the corrupt cop for Christs sake. It's very obvious that this experience is difficult for him to fully understand but the man is trying his best.
If you believe the writers wrote Jun Tae a certain way to dunk on Beomseok’s character then I’m afraid you…
I don't think the reason why Sieun stays away from everyone has anything to do with trust? It more so has to do with Sieun's own guilt bc he believes he doesn't deserve to be happy. He also thinks that getting close to people just leads to tragedy so he tells himself being alone is more comfortable for him.
Nobody is really talking about it but the scene we get in episode 7 but lets discuss:
The scene we get between Sieun and the Beomseok in his subconscious was so good. We get to see how much Sieun really still has a soft spot for Beomseok and feels like he abandoned him/couldn't save him, leaving Beomseok surrounded by darkness. I also like how they personified Sieun's trauma using the image of Beomseok. We see Sieun let go of the guilt he feels as we get the image of Beomseok letting go of Sieun's hand. He's finally healing. Honestly this scene might be the best one of the season and the acting between the two was phenomenal.
I'm loving how they managed to show a clear difference between Jun Tae and Beom Seok as early as ep 1. JT is clearly…
If you believe the writers wrote Jun Tae a certain way to dunk on Beomseok’s character then I’m afraid you weren’t watching this season with your eyes open 😭
I just feel like if they trashed the Chanyoung tennis storyline we would be a lot further in Heesu and Seungwon’s development. His storyline feels so cut off from the rest of the characters other than JiYu (sorta) that I feel like it’s not needed. It takes up too much of the episodes time and it’s boring as hell.
My biggest grip with Chanyoung's character is he was starting to become someone who added absolutely nothing to the main storyline so I'm glad the writers started fixing that about his character in the newest episode. I still stand by my opinion that this isn't a BL like everyone wants it to be at least not a typical one which is why both couples take up an equal amount of time. If you can't stand seeing a straight couple on your screens I would either drop it now or continue skipping their scenes together. I don't mind them especially Ji Yu but I find Chanyoung's character and his storyline involving his brother/family a complete snooze fest. I also want to say that every even episode feels like a bunch of filler so I don't know what was going on in that writing room but I'm gonna need something interesting to happen before I completely tune out.
