He has a large harem but he doesnt pay them any attention because of his previous betrayal by the girl you see in the trailer. So he doesnt indulge in the love story in the novel/cartoon but youku might change that since they only had them to include one girl.
Tencent just keeps selling its IPs away while Youku keeps making the top cultivation shows this year. Please youku dont change the plot, just copy and paste exactly as the novel and cartoon and people will love it. Dont be like Tencent and get "creative"

I think after the main Ling Yuan sect lost 2000 of their men, the balance of power is tipped to NGF since he has most of their money.
