So I just read the novel to fill the gaps, man this is such a let down for the differences. So there is no ice super power, no mother with super power. No mysterious father either. The show was alluding to the fact that the master of the underground assassins was in the Yu Wen family cause they had the same booby traps in their base. This is not in the book either. For you guys who care about the romance part, yeah it's there.

Did you like Tencent's mirror twin cities adaptation. Li Hong Yi needs more of these lead roles.

I am prepared for 2023. Youku's 2022 schedule is pretty filled.

It might be difficult. The 60 episodes covers up to half of the novel with the battle against Du Yi Tian, the heavenly celestial . Thats a lot to run through.

Youku really puts pride in their own productions going from the cartoon to drama. They picked the right actors for all the roles. Tencent needs to take note before pursuing any more mutilation of their cartoons.

I like it, the misunderstanding gets resolved all in one episode with no dragging on and on. Pretty sure the only reason other shows drag their misunderstandings on and on is to make money.

Looks like Tang dynasty with their costume and some of their references.

The director is the master of pacing. All that content and storylines packed into 10 min without any loss of important stuff unlike those dramas that drag on and on.

This show doesnt show much on the coding/hardware part or the actual mixed reality animations except in the first episode. It focuses more on the business side like a typical drama

Yeah it is funny how Tencent, Youku/Alibaba, Iqiyi/Baidu despite being all tech companies dont make many of business shows about their own daily lives. All the business shows we get are realestate, fashion and media. Occasionally we get some investment banking shows.

The backstabbing and schemes are probably a lot worse in real life. This show toned it down a lot.

The actress for Guo Fu seems to be more attractive. I dont get why you guys think Mao Xiao Hui is attractive for xiao long niu. Is it because she looks like Crystal Liu or something?
