I don’t find him annoying at all! He is so intense that I find him rather intriguing and I love good acting no matter the role.. I don’t think I have seen this actor before, but I will surely recognise him after this.

It’s quite difficult for tall guys to look good on horseback, so it’s already a feat he doesn’t look out of place. And he seems to feel at ease on the horse. When it comes to horse riding prowess, however, I think it’s hard to beat Jeremy Tsui galloping in full armour while brandishing a huge spear. I found the first episode a bit “un-engaging”, if you know what I mean. This wasn’t because it was boring stuff, but because they introduced so many characters in that first episode that it was a bit hard to relate to any of them. I usually watch three episodes before I decide to drop something (unless it’s really horrible) and it quickly became much more interesting.
So with only 1 day 15 hours 47 minutes and 39 seconds until until the next episode....sigh...I've begun to think…
Not exactly the same genre, but Story of Kunning Palace definitely had fewer boring passages. Here they are really overdoing it with the longing looks set to music under a rain of flower petals. So cliched and so boring!
