However, his role in Blossoms of Power is officially a “special guest star” role (there’s just no category for this on MDL) and. That means that it is not limited to the scope of a normal guest role. He filmed on 54 of the total 124 days of shooting, so it should be a sizable role. He also has a main role in Dancing with the Tide which he is currently filming. None of his recent roles have been support roles (if it is indicated anywhere, it’s simply incorrect).

Hopefully more people will follow Tan Jianci’s example and reject cat-in-the-bag projects, where the script is written while they are already filming. It would vastly improve drama quality!
