There is a world of a difference between expressing an opinion (positive or negative) about acting, writing, OST or whatever and bashing a drama with hateful comments.
It all depends on how opinions are expressed. The main problem lies with people who are unable to tell the difference between an opinion that they do not share and an offense.

People are just not used to paying attention to this level of detail (and I admit it's even more difficult trying to catch subtitles at the same time) and actors using such subtle acting are often misunderstood as "not expressing emotions".

You may think that 8.9 is too high, but considering that any ol' sh*t with a few pretty boys who can't act, highly flawed writing and barbie-style CGI seems to be getting an 8.2, 8.4 or even higher rating nowadays, it is not.

Save up a buffer of episodes, the you can watch slowly, but continuously.
I'd rather just watch 1 or 2 episodes a day than have 2-day interruption. Also, I try to avoid getting stuck on an angsty cliffhanger as it will spoil my mood.

Same here. I'm still reading the novel and it's definitely a slow, slow, sloooowww burn. On chapter 65 (of 145) now and still no romantic action. Liuli is still oblivious about her feelings and the CP is "taking it slow" because she's only 15 years old. So compared to that the drama version was a fire-ball of romance 🥰
