Well, I'm all for a total ban on time-travel (modern to ancient times or the opposite). Sadly, at the moment it feels like every second costume drama that comes out has this stupid nonsense trope. So no ban at all, heh?

All these modern people, always transmigrating into an ancient princess (somehow never into a farmer's daughter...) but still know exactly how to behave and how everything works. Most of us couldn't even understand what the locals are saying if we only went 200 years back in time!
It's such a ridiculous idea and a total insult to the audience's intelligence!

On the contrary, unless it's a French "nouvelle vague* film, open ends are the result of lazy and uninspired writing. Too lazy to tie up all the loose ends, too uninspired to come to a conclusion that feels satisfying without being boring.

That's what I have been trying to explain to people for the past three years (every time they mock his skinny figure): bulky muscles are no indication of actual strength! Only complex movements will train the surrounding tendons and tissue to provide real strength.
The muscles that people get from real work (i.e. ballet dancing, martial arts, physical labour) usually look a lot less conspicuous than the pumped-up muscles that you will get from, well pumping iron.
