Planning to crawl through the episodes coz I end up binging too fast. How are you all managing the wait times?…
Save up a buffer of episodes, the you can watch slowly, but continuously. I'd rather just watch 1 or 2 episodes a day than have 2-day interruption. Also, I try to avoid getting stuck on an angsty cliffhanger as it will spoil my mood.
I miss them so bad. After finishing this, I am now watching Till the End of the Moon and it's also good but I…
Same here. I'm still reading the novel and it's definitely a slow, slow, sloooowww burn. On chapter 65 (of 145) now and still no romantic action. Liuli is still oblivious about her feelings and the CP is "taking it slow" because she's only 15 years old. So compared to that the drama version was a fire-ball of romance π₯°
Yang Yang is the director (not the same person as the actor). Chen Zheyuan was rumored last summer. I donβt…
In that case they'd better find him another FL... I would not want to see Crystal Liu being insulted and torn to shreds for being ten years his senior by the crazier variety of WHD fans. She would definitely be better suited to be paired with JT (who also gets a lot of hate when the FL is a lot younger than him). Personally, I don't care much about these things as long as the acting is good, but some crazies seem to think mid-thirties is "old and wrinkly" and anyone in that age-group should no longer be allowed in romantic lead roles.

It would also be a grreat shame to put JT in a supporting role... Between the two of them, he is definitely the better actor... I also like WHD, but so far have only seen him shine in one single (type of) role.
So i see many have binge watched/binge watching episodes on Weekend ππJust tell me how many of you thought…
I'm very disciplined. I watch 2 episodes a day. They're quite long, so fill most of the time that I have for TV. I didn't binge in the first week, so still have a buffer to watch on days without new episodes. It's a tried and tested system that allows me to watch without annoying interruptions.
Exactly! This is based on data! I also read an article that people who watch TTEOTM in China are the "silent majority".…
Tale of Twin Cities was bad on so many levels... I only stayed till the end for Zheng YeCheng. And yes, she was incredibly irritating in UL, but it's hard to tell whether it was the acting or the writing (which turned her into this slapstick smart-arse character) or both. I couldn't even finish it, because I loved the novel and couldn't stand what they have done with it. We're so lucky TTEOTM sticks with the spirit of the novel.
Very cliche storyline and overused trope in Cdrama. But I like!! hahaha
The synopsis above is not very accurate... the actual story (as in the novel) is much more interesting because a large part of it concentrates on a conspiracy that involves both the "righteous" sects and the demon world. I hope that they kept this in the adaptation, as otherwise this would indeed just be yet another love-story.

(subbed episodes on YT up to ep. 17 so far...)

for a hilarious bromance.

Also, I would have expected Douban to be more up to date...
