When I am watching this again, I find something to question. In episode 36 when WWX returns with drunk LZ, he…
I thought he still appeared as Mo Xuan Yu to others? I was confused about this too because he no longer has his burn scar (so he obviously has a new body).
In the novel, he is shorter as MXY than when he was WWX.
And when he was taken by JC shortly after coming back to life, JC said that he couldn’t understand why someone like LWJ would associate with him and that it must be because of the person’s who’s life he’d taken over which would imply to me that he looked like MXY.
Also LWJ only recognized him by their song he played, JC suspected it was him because he called WN and then his fear of dogs. And JGY determined it was WWX because he could pull out Suibian (his old sword). So none of them recognized him by his appearance.
Saying that they all made him remove his mask and appeared to recognize him so I also don’t know.
Anyone know where I can watch the anime as they are released. I don’t need the subbed versions which seem to be released a few weeks behind the actual air date?
What moment do you think WY fell for LZ in the drama? I know in the book WY gradually realizes his feelings for LZ.
In the drama, I felt like it was probably when they got washed into the cold cave at Gusu Lan sect but it was probably most obvious to me when LZ let WY go when he went to rescue the Wen Clan and WY says that he hopes to die by his hand and LZ tears up. Even when he went to play the zither for him after the big Wen battle, the first time I watched it I still felt like maybe he just cared a lot about WY platonically.
In the novel, LZ obviously fell for him prior to the library scene (reference: incense burner from then book).
Oh man. Nothing good to watch out there now that Untamed is finished.
Let’s do something fun, respond to this thread with your favourite scene from the drama. (Not the novel, I already know what everyone’s favourite from the novel are ;)
In ep 29, why is LZ kneeling in the snow? Did he do something wrong?
Also, later when WY is back, how does LZ know it was him? He keeps saying that WY always forgets? My guess was just the tune of the flute because that was the song that LZ created for WY?
I’ve watched the drama twice now and I don’t understand how many pieces of the yin metal are there? My understanding was 5 pieces? The Wen clan had 3, LZ had 1, and XS had 1?
But then WY was explaining about the pieces returning to the black tortoise? Or that it could create more pieces?
Also, his acquired flute skills carried through to his revival in MX body without the yin metal?

Only thing I can think of is that he was mad that he just up and left him after fighting the slaughter tortoise?

What I’m referring to happened before WH died.
My original suspicion was he was being punished for going to see WY when he was in the burial mounds with the Wen clan?

And wouldn’t he have the use of MX golden core?
And how can everyone see him as WY and not MX?
And the dialogue at the final battle with LX Andy jC too. Just that their responsibility to others extends beyond their own relationship.
