It’s if you save me. I think his dream also includes his fears like the mirror showing the wedding. So his fear is that in the real world if he saves her, she will end up marrying someone else, CH to be specific. This dream is constructed on his denial and probably what’s killing him.

He’s smart and would have figured out early on that she has to live long enough to marry CH hence there being a way to save her.

In ep 15 (32:25), DFCQ uses the exact same phrase that SM does at the end of ep 32 where she says that even if XLH was placed in the middle of 100,000 orchids that he would still be able to find her in an instance.

I think SM saw this exact moment on her destiny book. So she knew well in advance that XLH would end up falling for DFCQ.

Now wondering what the significance of this is.

Ep 9. I feel like that’s the episode where they both realize how much they care for one another

When DFQC says he knows this is a dream and he has to go, I wonder if it was an illusion or dream set up by her to distract him so she can go and kill herself with YF. I’m guessing YF has a way to get the chidi’s primordial spirit to free their soldiers and her dying maybe what destroys his love and he will get his hellfire back.

Her comment about saving her life for her to marry someone else means he won’t sacrifice her and ends up losing the war and she will be forced to marry CH

Also as a side note, I’m pretty sure RH (a SYT lord) murdering her family and clan absolves her from any arranged marriages with them). Wasn’t that the same rationale CH used on XLH when she wanted to marry DFCQ.

My theory on ep 32 trailer

Me too, I wanted the scene from the trailer where she gives back the stone to CH and DFQC throws her on his back and they run along the river shore to be how it ends and we already saw that scene 😭😭😭

So I thought this was his love tree and that was just her before dying or shortly after stabbing herself? 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I assumed the tree they were standing under that was fading away was his love tree and that she was dying.

Unless his feelings die? Like the FL killing herself?

My guess is end of ep 32 or ep 33. There’s a trailer for the series where DFQC is holding XLH as she fades to dust and CH set in the same background is crying.

I think when DFCQ realizes that the last 10% of her recovery in episode 9 was due to her worrying about his safety. And he gives her the bone bracelet made from his heart’s blood. For her, I feel like it was the moment he returned to save her later in the same episode. No one else stood up for her.
