I just want to say that I expected some kind of cliffhanger for ep 39 but it actually was a nice wrap up. like this could be it’s own drama or a nice point for a break.
I think it’s that wedding. it happened right when CX was crowned. only other notable wedding was CX to his CRXY but that wasn’t until after he was crowned emperor.
I feel like TSJ must know that FFB is XL the entire time. TSJ and XY are the only mains that have seen XL real face. Additionally the novel mentions that TSJ and XL had conducted business for 150 years before XY came along (though he might have had a mask for this period but it doesn’t explain why XL didn’t recognize TSJ when he was 17)

yes, in the novel, XY helps TSJ uncover the truth by lending him her gorilla mirror to spy on TSH and FFYY and catches them admitting that TSZ is TSH’s son and not TSJ. with that information they are able to get the TS clan to exile TSH to QS town and send FFYY off to (essentially die). TSJ then formally proposes and XY accepts and a month before they are supposed to marry, CX conspires with TSH to kill TSJ.

I can’t wait to see the shell scene but no idea how this passed censorship if it follows the novel 😆
