Just finished ep 8. So far, its pretty good. Love yin chen. Don't know how i feel about qi ling yet. I do know i hate that princess whoever her name is. And I'm giddy about the bromance. Its not on full force yet but i'm seeing some promise
Am on episode 5 and gotta say, i'm liking this wu xie more than the first one. He smiles more...cracks joke even amidst danger and there's the way he exchange glances with qi ling...promising start.
maybe try hikaru no go next? also c drama, it also has family dynamics but mostly focuses on one personal journey.…
I've watched hikaru no go and loved it , its one of my favorites cdrama this year. Out of all the dramas ive watch for 2020 i enjoyed only 3. Hikaru no go, under the power and once upon a time in liang jiang mountain. The rest...i dropped
This seems to be a well loved drama, i'm kinda sad it didn't click with me. Maybe my heart"s made of stone? Anyway i dropped it since it not catching my interest. I"m not saying its particularly bad. In fact I thought the first few episodes were touching but when they grew up into adults swoosh there goes my attention. I persisted but before i knew it I was clicking fast forward like nobody's business. By the time i got to ep 16 i skipped everything and went straight into the ending
My reaction to this drama caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting this to be one of those dramas that I just can't stop watching. Ive marathoned this pretty hard because I really loved how the relationship developed between the main leads. From annoying each other to reluctant respect and finally loving each other. I usually abhor love hate relationship but they did something right with this one. It was handled in a way that my eyes were glued on screen even though its already 4 am.
I hated the second couple though. I ff their scenes and they have a loot of scenes which really puts me off...oh and the second male lead who has the mind of an 8 year old and deserves to be thrown off a cliff 99 % of the time. But aside from those 3 characters almost everything about this drama is wonderful. A must watch

There is strong brotherhood here , it broke my heart. But honestly, compared to those two dramas you've mentioned which i love its a bit weak, it satiated me a bit. Ifnyou want brotherhood, i suggest hikaru no go. That tooltally satisfied me
I downloaded this a year ago because i wanted to see what the hype was about but other dramas distracted me and i wasn't feeling the 1st ep so I deleted it. Now that ive watched every drama planet earth I've downloaded it again and am about to give this a second try. Hope I enjoy it. No actually I just hope the fl wont irritate me. Irritating fl work on my last nerve. Pls don't be irritating. Pls don't be irritating.....
Wow. This is the only show i've dropped after watching it more than halfway. I tried so hard to like it but i.just.can't. Don't know why. Something just ain't clicking.
Just finished. What an awesome show with a lot of bromance that kept me smiling. I haven't watched the anime but I heard this show had some great friendships so i checked it out and boy that was a fun ride. Its heavy with the bromance and not so much of romance so definitely my kind of thing. All the actors did a fantastic job and they*re so young and promising so kudos to them specially the kid that played shi guang..wow.
I watched this for the friendship of shi guang and chu ying which is the core of the story and ten kinds of awesome but i wasn:t expecting to be just as touched with the relationship between shi guang and yu liang...they're like soulmates-in a brotherly kind of way. Lol
All in all im glad to have watched this..its gonna be hard to top.

Lol..that happened to me lately with hikaru no go. I couldn't wait for it to be completed. I marathoned the 1st 24 episodes and i was dying while i waited for the rest. I paid the price. Not gonna make the same mistake with this one. So I'll just sit here. And wait. ;)
Currently on ep 5. So far, i'm not losing my interest. Im kinda intrigued on how this drama will turn out...lets see..i have so many dramas that i wanna watch i'm putting this 1st because of the great reviews..so far...i don't dislike it, is the most i can say about it
I've put off watching this for so long because of the negative comments for the FL. I get easily annoyed with irksome FL and I didn't wanna stress myself unnecessarily but boredom was stressing me out even more so i decided to give it a go and surprisingly enjoyed this show. Much more surprising is i wasn't annoyed in the least bit with the FL. I get why the two guys fell hard for her. She's caring , compassionate, loyal and sweet. From the very begginning she knew where her heart lies and she held onto the man she chose. Second male lead was determined as hell to win her but face up she's all about sunwoo...she didn't string the other guy along. I love that. She's a crybaby but that doesn't bother me.
But the main draw for me is of course the bromance and there's quite a bit of that here. There's that complicated relationship between ji dwi and sun woo, their reluctant friendship was a joy to watch. The friendship that developed among the hwarangs was what kept me glued on screen and damn they sure know how to end every episodes. I had large eyebags when i was watching it because i marathoned it in one go. I was like ...MUST SLEEP. CAN'T STOP WATCHING. MUST. KNOW. WHAT .HAPPENS. NEXT. And thats why i'm giving this a 9. Because I rarely experience that feeling when watching a drama.
Those who are hesitating to watch this because of bad reviews give it a try. You might enjoy it like I did. Its got a lot to love. The comedy. The bromance. The hair. The cute love story. Ji Dwi's longing face when he looks at Sunwoo...i dunno what was more important to him, the throne, ah ro or sun woo's friendship..so i just decided to go with the latter (it's the teary eyes that gave it away)
