I adore ba ye. I love the lil bit of bromance he has with rishan. But of course my fave there is still zhang rishan. He smiles more often in mystic nine specially when he gets to one up baye. Although serious and cold rishan in the later installments is hot he's just precious when he smiles.
Hmmn what to say about this drama...its okay.. I guess. I watched this because of ultimate note. I don't know what i was hoping for getting into this but i do know i didn't get it. Lol. What kept me going is zhang rishan... Watched the actor in l.o.r.d and wow i din't know it was even the same actor. From annoyingly cute character i l.o.r.d how did he become so smoldering hot? Anyway glad he gets more screen time here rather than those measly few minutes he appeared in UN. He even gets a love story.
Speaking of which i dont get why many are hating on liang wan. I actually find her character relatable. I like her far better than su nan that ah ning wanna be cold ruthless woman. I think its just me though but thats okay. Lian wang though...her reactions are very relatable. If i see drop dead gorgeous rishan in front of me looking dashing in a suit i'd be in awe too and ill be hitting on him like she did although ive never hit on anybody my entire life. If that guy show a bit of interest heck i'd go graverobbing with him to the ends of the earth so even if i die ill die happy. Lol. So more than actually tolerating her i actually like her. She knows she likes the man so does everything she can to get him. What i don't like are female characters who likes a guy and pretends they dont or denies it even to themselves.
Anyway back to the drama... I was not impressed...wait... I was impressed with zhang rishan...did i mention that already? But i did not hate it... Except for su nan...hated her. Oh wait.. I said that already as well. I did finish it so that makes it better imo than those popular dramas ive dropped like a hot_potato.

I stayed for zhang rishan and now i'm watching mystic nine because rishan was like fo ye fo ye fo ye so i wanna know whats the big deal about fo ye and of course i wanna see more zhang rishan.
I don't usually watch movies because i prefer dramas where the stories are given time to develop rather than cramming everything in a two hour long movie but saw the trailer of this one and thought that i cannot miss this one.
I think I set my expectations too high though because people were hyping so much about the bromance and while it was not bad, it wasn't as good as i was expecting.
This would've been better off as a drama. Their relationship went from point a to point b so fast i nearly got a whiplash just watching it. Maybe its just me but i'm not sold with that friendship but the one good thjng_i can say about it is that it is visually stunning. The actors the set the cgi are beautiful but thats just about it
This show is pretty good... I finished it and thats saying something since I've been dropping dramas like crazy lately... Its hard to find good dramas these days fortunately i found this. Usually in dramas like this there's that one mr that annoys the shit out of me but thats not the case with this one... I love all the main crew.. There's no one to hate which is a breath of fresh air.
This is a kick ass show and i do recommend it. Its 8•5 for me

Ultimate note.is kind of a tough act to follow bromance wise. Im at episode 3 and no bromance in sight. Im not gonna judge it yet though...I'm hoping it gets better though
