Just a question: for how long will this air? Will they drop all the episodes in netflix in one go or are they gonna air 1 episode per week like in usual jdramas?
Agreed. I haven't finished the drama yet, but I'm loving everything about it so far and I adore Jun and So Bin…
Oh yes, everything about this story blends beautifully with each other. There's the right amount of romance and more importantly plenty of bromance. I'm sure you'll love it. Enjoy☺
Whew, i almost didn't watch this because of so many unfavorable comments, thank goodness I remembered that the dramas i did enjoy are the ones that people seem to not like so I was like oh, people didn't like this im definitely gonna love it and i was right. For the past few years i've grown tired of romantic dramas but once in a while I do enjoy a good love story like this one. In here the fl didn't pick the jerk she chose the one who knew how to treat a woman right, i mean sure he's also drop dead gorgeous but that's beside the point. There's no dragging of any kind with the oh he/she was my 1st love, didn't take them long to recognize each other now that's refreshing. There's noble idiocy sure but they didn't really stretch it, i almost didn't even notice it. And the aethetics of this show is just wow. Everything's so pretty. Imo this is a love story done right. Love the fl. She loves the guy and though she doesn't say it i prefer it that she just shows it. She's not the typical fl who's hard to get, ooh that annoys me more than anything. Oh i hate you. I love you. I hate you. I love you. Wait wait, i love you but im an idiot so im just gonna pretend that i don't for some stupid reason. Ugh *end rant* if any of you can suggest a drama where the fl is not like that and like our lovely heroine here, please suggest, im begging. Im running out of good shows.
See? There's a perk to waiting for the drama to end before watching it, now i was able to spare myself from too much heartache. Does that mean i'm gonna miss watching a spectacular drama? Maybe. But at least i'm not sad or angry, i feel no pain.
So mostly, i'm actually quite tolerant of fl that people seems to hate. Like the fl in hwarang, forward forever, at a distance, spring is green, remember you to name a few, where most people get irritated by those fls i actually like some of em. But i'd have to agree with the concensus on this one, who knew a character can be THAT irritating that its taking my enjoyment from watching the show. I'm only in episode 4 and dang that girl IS bigtime annoyin. I'll soldier on of course coz i actually like the cases and the two guys but its not gonna be easy. I'd say its not the actress fault but i can't because i was sooo irritated by her role in L.O.R.D as well, so maybe its partly her lol.
I knew if i searched hard enough i'll find a drama that would suit my tastebuds. Thank goodness, i found this and its just the kind of bromance ive been looking for. While i am into the 'romantic'' kind of bromance i actually prefer this kind even more. No romantic or sexual innuendos just plain old kindred spirit kind of friendship that would tug your heartstrings. I thought that the relationship between soo hyun and jun was a-mazing, it takes center stage and romantic storyline was tolerable, i actually liked the fl and the triangle between soohyun and those two women i wouldve been happy whoever he ended up with because the two wimen were great and they both deserve soo hyun.. What i didn't see coming though was the back story of jun with his brother,. Two words: heart wrenching. It kinda stole the spotlight from jun and soo hyun tandem. Kind of. Not entirely but it came close. I just knew the brother wasn't so bad. What i didn't know though was that he was the best bro ever. Applause applause to this drama. Highly recommended.
Omg i thought i was alone with what i felt when i watched navillera. I dare not comment about it before because i might trigger some fans, but now that i have someone who actually shares the same opinion, i feel a bit happy abt it
Wow. I can't believe I'm going to say this specially because the korean version has park bo gum in it but.... this is way better than the original. I'm very impressed with thailand's take on what was already a great drama, they made it better and that's quite a feat. A little tip to make your drama watching experience more enjoyable just fast forward the fl's scenes. That way she wont bug you much. That's what I did. I focused more on the core of the story which is really about the brothers. Don't know why they had to add romance in it but hey i'm not one to nitpick. Im good at ignoring stuff that are bound to irritate me so i ignored the fl. Lol. The cast did a great job specially the two male leads, they knocked it out of the park. The korean version already tore my heart to pieces with the relationship between the brothers but with this one, my heart was in tatters. I loved loved loved their heart breaking relationship., the korean one left me wanting more, this one gave me MORE so thank you thank you drama gods for making this drama.
What's your favourite or favourites costume dramas?
I love the ones that are underrated i think but great like under the power, once upon a time in lingjian mountain, legend of fu yao the only popular ones i liked are the untamed and word of honor..
I guess I have something to binge watch this weekend. I normally like watching chinese costume dramas but the hype is getting to me with this one. I'm excited.
