You're so right. Boy was relentless in his pursuit. Their second meeting and he was already asking Jiu to go visit him at his place. lol. Jiu refused so he found Jiu's place instead and kept on visiting him. I just love Tian. He's so adorable. He's like, yea, just keep pushing me away but you're not gonna get rid of me that easy, buddy. You're mine. His life was so sheltered all those years there must've been so much energy waiting to be released and when he found that drop dead gorgeous candy seller on the street boy just went. "Target acquired" locking in and ready to pursue,

I think underneath that nice guy facade Tian is actually hiding a naughty side, remember he's the one that pursued Jiu, flirting so smoothly Jiu didn't stand a chance. Tian already branded Jiu his the moment he laid eyes on him. And the way he wormed his way into Jiu's life and heart was so wonderfully executed you'd think the guy's a pro.

I also love that scene in the end where Jiu offered Tian sweets. Tian, your mind immediately went there, you low key perv. lol

OMG, what a beautiful ending. Tears. Best drama not of 2022 but ever. This is the one to beat.

I haven't watched the last episode yet but dang it I'm rating this now. Based on the state of my replay key, this is the very first drama I'm rating a 10. This drama has no flaw. Everything is just perfect. It has the perfect balance of family and romance and I effing love both couples, never happened in my long history of drama watching. The acting is just impeccable from our main leads, and there's nothing to criticize on the characterization of the main 4 they are just so awesome. I love them all equally and am rooting for their happy ever after from the get go because they deserve it, after all the suffering they've been put through. Let's start with Tian, oh my goodness this poor boy, I feel like there's not an episode that passed by that he didn't cry, he's been put through hell all his life because even if he's considered the favorite and most beloved in the family he was forced to hide who he really is when all he wanted was to be himself. So really, he's been living in a cage, a beautiful cage, maybe, filled with wealth and people who love him but still a cage none the less. He may have been given lot of things but he was denied the one thing that he has always longed for and rightfully deserved which is acceptance. Then let's go to Yang, I am in awe of this guy. The way he loves his brother is unparalleled and not once has his love and loyalty for Tian wavered, I'm happy that they didn't go the usual route with this character and I love that this show provided us with the best brother relationship in drama history and I've seen a couple of good ones but no one can top this for me now. I t has sealed its spot in the top place. While these two have each of their own love line (both being awesome) I think even those take a back seat to the sibling relationship of these two. I like the irony that even though Yang is the dark horse of the family, who's the happy go lucky and quite unreliable by their father's standards he's the only solid and steady force in Tian's life. And in return Tian has given him all the love and kindness that he was denied as well. Now moving on to Ping, she's the character I thought I was going to dislike but noooo...this beautiful lady is exactly that. Purely beautiful on the outside and even more so on the inside. If there's a girl deserving of someone as wonderful as Yang, she's it. Don't look any further, This lady is the best, If other drama writers can pay attention, this is how you write a female lead so they don't get hated in a very male centric drama. A female lead to root for is very refreshing because from my experience in dramas fls never deserved mls. Ever. I don't know why but writers always write awesome mls but it seems like they poured all their energy there, when it comes to writing fls they seemed to have given up and say lets just make them hate her. lol, thats just my opinion though. Now to complete the aka four musketeers, there's Jiu. I think he's the most realistically written character of the bunch. The other 3 are almost perfect but Jiu is different, he makes bad decisions , rely on wrong people but his heart has always been in the right place. He knows what he's doing is wrong but he does it anyway because of his desperation to provide for his family. He's poor, uneducated and his world is practically survival of the fittest. And so that's all he ever did. Strived to survive. Never for himself but for his siblings. That's why even though I usually don't like characters like Jiu, I actually like Jiu .

Now for the romance. This drama is like 60 % family and 40 % romance and that's actually enough. Glad they didn't overdo it with the love stories. they gave us the right amount of romantic excitement and moments where my heart is just mush. When I watch the two couples interact I just can't stop smiling. Jiu surely made Tian do a lot of chasing. lol. Iiterally ang figuratively, :) I mean, Tian almost has an "I love Jiu" tattoo written on his forehead but Jiu was just no, stay away from me so when came to his turn showing Tian how much he loves him, it makes it even more satisying, because you know Tian deserves that much love, Tian deserves the whole world actually and even though Jiu doesn't have much to offer he offered all of himself and to Tian that's more than enough. All he wanted was Jiu, anyway. Dang, best couple. Thier moments are so few but oddly enough I'm perfectly satisfied.

I'm on my knees, begging for the english sub for ep 17 to be released soon. lol. I know it won't probably be out until a few hours but here's to waiting with bated breath

okay, my two cents about ep 15, they've ramped up, i loveit. I love how during almost the entire episode Tian was a picture of a broken man, since he thought jiu's dead he figured he has nothing more to lose so might as well sacrifice for the people he loves. He's accepted the fact that he is never again going to be happy. Fast forward to the last part when he finds out jiu's alive, i love the reaction from Tian, but even more than that i iove his father's reaction. You can see it on his face, it finally dawned on him that there they are, they're all about to die but the look on his son's face is nothing more than happiness. Like legit Tian smiles during the drama but he has never been that happy. I wouldn't even call that expression happiness. Its more appropriate to call it love. I have to applaud film during that scene. His face, dang it was just filled with love and that was kind of hard to radiate on camera, an actor who manages to look like he's not acting but simply being his character is hard to pull off and only a few manages to do that so applause applause,

This is gonna end badly isn't it? Im probably not gonna watch the end and make up an ending of my own in my safe little bubble where everybody lives happily ever after.

okay, here's my take on the drama: I like it. I came into this already knowing who the perpetrators are because I actually don't mind spoilers, in fact i like knowing ahead of time which is why i always wait for dramas to finish before i start watching em because knowing the end is how i actually decide whether I'm gonna watch the drama or not. So yea no big reveals for me while I was watching the drama but that doesn't make it less enjoyable, I like watcjing how everything unfolded it was still quite an experience. ML is quite pitiful, he's the real victim in all of this (if you've watched the drama, you'll know why if you haven't no worries I'm not gonna spoil it for you -just because I like spoilers doesn't mean I'm gonna give it out, I know Imajority hate those) But I like the message the drama is trying to convey, its like detective conan's motto. "No amount of reason can ever justify murder" Killers had to pay, and I'm glad they did, Do I pity them. Yes. they were kids when they were snatched away and they grew up in that brutal environment so the way they acted is w/i reason, they were raised in violence so they know nothing else but to strike back with even more violence and as much brutality as they were given, I see that point. But still no matter what there's no justification for killing. Nothing. Killing is killing. No rhyme or reason can every justify it. Anyway..good drama overall,. Worth the watch .
