Boring. It didn’t really make sense, it was unclear what they wanted to say and they under delivered for me because it was looking very promising. The romance wasn’t very convincing and the supporting roles were lacking development. A bad usage of a great casting. Mostly pissed up about the director Song Hyun-wook who made the King’s Affection but since very bad dramas and Lee Ha-na, the writer, they are the ones responsible of the mess.
Episode 8 I have been suffering for 2 episodes already. I had such high hopes for this one. It did started very good and it gets boring very fast. Curiously it managed to be messy and boring at the same time. I didn’t find any funny parts. The romance is very shallow. Female lead has been twice in the hospital, chased by lawn sharks, lost in woods, drunk…he is obsessed with a woman that he doesn’t even know. One good kiss shouldn’t make you crazy if you have all your brain cells. Characters don’t have many depth. The bad woman not so bad. Second couple not even a couple. I don’t feel anything for none of the characters and basically don’t even care at this point if they made it or not. I am nearly on the verge to say that my troublesome star was maybe better. I am sticking to see my Namkoong Min. Like would you marry me waste of good actors in a poor script full of cliches…2025 is deception after deception.

Totally agree. Some great actors lost inside a stupid story and poor execution. Eg. the cousin and the aunt were totally underused but they are fantastic actors.

It wasn’t stretched to 20. It has been signed for 40*35 minutes. But the ratings were so bad for SBS (which isn’t cable tv) the show started around 2%, picked at 3.5 dropped week after week even to 1.5% For cable such as Chosun TV, OCN that would be decent but for SBS it was a flop (worst ratings for a kdrama is around 0.3%) so SBS aired only 36 out of 40 episodes

I love that drama. I have watched it like 10 times since it’s release but I feel like it suffered from its success. The ratings were so good that the channel mid-filming decided to extend and it’s visible that they have no script at the end, I am pretty sure that the leads improvised some of their dialogues. They know each other so well (only couple that has been 4 times united in 20 years)
