good start, ehh end as usual i feel like the characters had so much potential if only they didn't force the whole sacrifice, love line; there're so many ways they could've created a better end while not sacrificing the ccp propaganda.
i feel like its kinda average. Plot isn't the best or most original but it's not the worst. Personally, the humor feels a little awkward and cringy at times and made me skip around a lot and lose interest.
[okay tbh this isn't really a spoiler but just in case to those sensitive souls]If you mean Fang Han and Jin Lan…
: )))))))))))))))))))))))) i personally kinda like QJJ's other drama, Spy Hunter. However, the bromance isn't as (arguably?) strong but you can definitely feel it. idk if it's necessarily healing bc lmAO ppl died and well at least the ending doesn't separate them.
you should also definitely check out Sniper, which is currently airing!!!
Could you tell me if Ma Gwai and Dr. Chong (main leads) end up together here? >
ahh im so sorry that im late but the short answer is no, the long answer is wellllll no but yes. It's kinda like, at one scene they confessed to each other (even kissed and all) but then her memory is wiped so they went back to being friends.
wherein li jianjian said that the blanket smells like ling xiao? i don't get it why he reacted that way lol
imagine having ur sister acting so personal smell your blanket and be like wow this smells good it smells like you. Its kinda awkward bc LX likes her and doesn't see her purely as a sister.
What I really like about this show is not only the family element (man i cried so much for the father & son) but also the way the love triangle was resolved. All the characters are wonderful and mature in the situation which is somehow very rare in dramas with love triangles.
also I love ZQ so much. i feel like the world did so much wrong to him and it's such a blessing for him to have such a good home
look forward to the 2nd season of this but wow wtf u can't have this series work w/o all 3 of them together ok.…
honestly ya i can kinda see that too. I just hate her character so much like, I can't even hate her bc well ok she has a tough life and she's trying to do the best she can to get money, but then she keeps on getting into my bois' way it just makes me mad.
look forward to the 2nd season of this but wow wtf u can't have this series work w/o all 3 of them together ok. why do u gotta go give Hei Yan Jing (the blind dude) a love interest and now u make pangzi get one too like ???? wtf wtf wtf zhangqiling is not even a main character at this point.
The characters are refreshing? in a sense bc neither of them are portrayed as an 'emotionally hurting person who doesn't know how to love but is perfect in every way and just needs someone to make them realize it'. There's no naivety or 'pureness' in the characters. The ML gets angry, he lashes out, and he's rational. The FL is rude, a bit arrogant and, irrational (and unendearing in the beginning) but somehow the dislike I had for some of their traits makes the show all that much better.
instead of mother-son feeling, I got sister-brother vibes from the way the ML and FL are portrayed together which kinda wasn't what I expected? I don't rlly like how they ship them together so yeah it kinda makes me not like the drama as much as I would've. overall, it was a good watch.
wow this was really good. I feel like it def. went beyond the last season bc it has a narrower focus in terms of characters. Loved that relationship b/w the 2 male leads it's so cute when they argue and banter. The overarching plot is also more enticing and cohesive
idk if it'd be YOUR taste specifically since there's no fluffy stuff. It focuses more on psychiatric patients and ML's navigation through them as he tries to find a person. There's not much romance or 'heartwarming'/healing stuff in regards to the ML.
The general feeling leans toward a crime/detective show but there's no politics/political corruption (which is A+ if you're tired of corruption dramas) and there's not much laugh-out-loud humor?
It's hard to narrow it down bc on one hand I get a serious vibe from this but it's not noir or gritty or 100% serious like crime shows. On the other hand, however, it's not light like a parody, rom-coms or 38 task force where you get some light-hearted slice of life moments. It's less emotional and more intellectual? idk if that's the right word.
(sorry for the long paragraphs oops) In the end, I think you should give ep 1 a shot and see if anything hits
there's something alluring about this show, especially after watching its amazing first ep which lured me in the first second. However, the more I watch, the more it deviates from what I want and I had to put it on hold for a bit (which turned out to be almost half a year oops).
It's really good and I'm saying this from the pov that I'm still not done with it yet. There's something about it that makes me want to finish it no matter how many times I've picked it up and then put it on hold and then picked it back up again.
I love the ML and FL so much (def new faces I haven't seen in other shows) and there's no 'dumbness' in either of them which I appreciate a lot. So while I had some trouble getting through it, it's still a very very worthy show that'll grab your attention with its wonderful cinematography, acting, music, and stories.
I love how all the characters get to sort of mingle and mix in the beginning bc you don't really know who will end up with whom (except the main pair but even then) and you can decide for yourself whom you ship more.
however, mannn there're so many love triangles it hurts.
watched till ep 50 and kinda skipped to end because I lost interest.
definitely predictable and doesn't have the same nostalgic feeling I get from other similar dramas. However, it was very fun to watch since every character is given the chance for a backstory and interaction with the main characters.

kinda sucks that covid cut it 4 eps short
