I feel like, it's kinda a typical espionage show but also not very typical in the show doesn't focus on communist good, everything else bad that a lot other does. The characters are very well developed and you start to hate some or love some.
One thing I really kinda hate is the FL. I thought I'd like her but the 'strong feminine figure chasing love' is so dominating and assertive that I kinda feel irritated by her. Her character setting isn't bad, but maybe if she stops going around showing how smart she is and stops crying and yelling every other time, it'll be nice.
One thing I did like about it is the friendship between the male leads. Friends turned enemies and enemies turned friends (or enemies turned dead), overall the relationships are so well built and developed that ngl I cried more for their friendships than I did for the ML and FL thing.
The ending was a little flat but Overall it’s very decent series. The cast did amazing job. No annoying characters…
ah yees Qin Junjie honestly is such a good actor. I love him in Spy Hunter as well, his characters in both are so pleasing to watch.
Yeah. the ending definitely is flat but you're right, it's a very nice series. And for the first time, I'm not actually annoyed by female characters. Just wished there was something more to conclude Fang Han and Gu Tao's storyline and maybe even some sort of conclusion to Fang Han and his girlfriend, like some sort of "I've completed the mission" kinda feeling.
[okay tbh this isn't really a spoiler but just in case to those sensitive souls]If you mean Fang Han and Jin Lan…
ikrrr they're so cute sometimes and literally, this is the best pair I've ever seen for a while now. Like, it's not too over the top and I'm just so attached to them that right now it hurts oof

If you mean Fang Han and Jin Lan Lan, then no, none that I can see so far. There are some moments that you might see as "flirting" but they're very minor (like, 1 scene) and so far it's mostly a very tense business friendship born from gratitude among other things.
also, haha, Fang Han is too fixated on his dead girlfriend to look at anybody else tbh. He's a very loyal person.
If you mean Fang Han and Gu Tao... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) well, they're very very good bros and will literally die for each other (but ofc, they're too smart to die)
