I did not know they cut episodess. Explains why some of the plot jumps from place to place. The characters need to stop disappearing and reappearing randomly. Do you know why they cut soo much? As long as they were under 40 eps it should’ve been fine.

I just saw the trailer and I can’t wait to start this drama! There was soo much angst and tension in the trailer, I’m dying to see how the romance plays out. I usually refrain from watching heavy stuff and like watching something light with comedy but I have a feeling this drama is not going to disappoint me!🫶🏼

tbh I haven’t been very actively keeping with news for 6 months or so. All the news I get is social media news. And the American news has pretty much taken over my feed even though I don’t live there but it’s all pretty much filled with trump this and Epstein that. And news channels I follow are mainstream like bbc and itv which are shit. coming from Manchester suburbs there really hasn’t been much talk locally too. But yeah I’m to blame to haven’t had much of a social life because of exams and I’m pretty much just studying or watching Cdramas. Will definitely search up more on it. I’ve just noticed that all the cases we’ve watched involve women, which really highlights how little respect women had in imperial China. It’s heartbreaking and disturbing to see how they were treated. And honestly, I’m not sure how much has changed as many of these patterns still exist today. It’s made me realise that I complain a lot, but what I experience is nothing compared to women who are denied basic dignity and respect.😢

That was not a mistake. They were obviously being rude and taking things out of context. And once they realised no one is going to take their side they just deleted it with no apology. they think nobody will remember it if it’s deleted but we remember so they have not won this war lol. MDL just sucks with a lot of things. this is not instagram where social life is public so even if mdl left behind the account of the deleted comment, it’s not like I can leave hate comments or DMs. so they should definitely stop people from hiding behind deleted comments.

The emperor in Youthful Glory was an amazing and a funny emperor. You need to add it onto your list if you haven’t already seen it.

the emperor has fathered probably 10-15 princes. so one princes death is not worth mourning for if there’s 10 more. And he got demoted and stripped off his title so he’s basically a commoner. no one is going to mourn a criminal not even in ancient china. if the emperor himself has shaded you then no one will associate with him and talk or even look at him. then that would mean you are going against emperor. it’s like today’s world where people are careful talking about certain things as it can create controversies and judgments. and the reason for his death was already explored in the drama. He died due to proper reasons which was properly investigated, so even if it’s murder no one cares because it was his own fault. his death was not due to power struggles

because people were attempting to k*ll themselves thinking they will transmigrate. Just dumb people not able to differentiate reality with fiction and doing dumb things. So China had a censorship law to prevent this. but it’s still a stupid law.

in LGIEF the ending is like that due to censorship. if censorship didn’t exist, then ML and FL would’ve had a happy ending in the game and in real life. But they turned it into a dream with only FL remembering it and didn’t show ML POV so the ending was very iffy and an open ending instead of a closed ending. Another example of a drama is summit of youth. You can watch the drama and see what I mean.

What complaints? And even if there were complaints, I don’t think they changed it because of that. The change in ending credits was definitely pre planned. they couldn’t have changed it this quick and made it soo good just after 2 days of complaints. I noticed it changed from episode 10. so yesterday they released episode 9 with old credits and episode 10 with new credits. so it’s a pre planned move, if not no the episodes would be changed. But yep the new ending credits is soo good much better than the old one where it looked like donghua credits.

I’ve got a question- Both leads are transmigrators but FL transmigrated as an adult in her 20s but ML transmigrated as a school boy in his teen years. So how are they going to play around with the ending? it’s not weird for them to have a romantic relationship in the novel world as the ML grew up from a kid prince to an adult king, but if he goes back to being a school kid after the transmigration ends then that’s gonna suck. but it doesn’t make sense for them to change him into a full grown man just like that. so that would mean he skipped school, uni and life while he was transmigrated. And I don’t think cdrama transmigration end that way. it’s usually a dream or a coma so people don’t disappear for years before they return to their og world but only few mins to days pass.

I’ve got another theory. I think her company CEO, who bought rights for the book after paying crazy amounts is ML. There’s nothing to prove but I can just feel it, so ML probably experienced all this and then bought book rights to make FL read so she can also transmigrate and then they can reunite back in the real world. So that would mean ML transmigrated and returned to real world years before FL did.

there is a censorship ban for all types of transmigration and reincarnation plots. but that doesn’t stop people from releasing the dramas. the drama team works around the censorship laws and release them. so that means the endings for such dramas are not very satisfactory and people pleasing. the ban has been there for ages and I watch 4-5 transmigration cdramas every year. Are you new to cdramas by any chance? there’s soo many transmigration cdramas out there.
