The first Android smartphone arrived in 2008, if I am not mistaken.
I was talking in the drama context. all the items they showed in the drama like cars and electronics except the pagers and flip keypad phones where all from 2000s not something you’d see in the 90s. I meant if their using fancy laptops from 2010 why are they using pagers from 90s. doesn’t make sense.

they should’ve picked a generation more suitable for their drama props. Everything clearly looks out of place for a drama set in the 90s. I get that it’s a book version of the 90s so they’re not even real life scenarios but it just makes me laugh sometimes. I was complaining about shine on me looking too futuristic for a drama set in 2013 but this drama is way worse. who on earth had projectors and slim laptops in the 90s but not smartphones? like make it make sense. This drama is already funny and the props they use makes it even more funnier lol.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
I’m watching ep 25 right now and I’m not very happy with FL. She first breaks up with him over a mistake his dad did and does not even let him talk. And then she snoops around in his private room then tries to pry into the details and even ends up visiting the factory. If you’ve broken up you’re broken up it’s simple. Why ask questions after you’ve broken up and why expect answers.

I hate it when FLs try to play detective thinking they’re doing something great. And she’s angry he hid things. I mean he’s the boss and he’s hid his intention of working with the enemies from everyone in his office not just her. Is she expecting early insider information from him just because she’s his gf? I mean they just started dating so it takes time to talk about his secrets and family problems. I don’t think you’re expected to lay out your cards on your first date I thought it takes time and effort and my man was almost there and was going to open up.

I started love between lines after finishing shine on me where they had excellent communication between leads so the communication here is bothering me. But nevertheless I’m enjoying love between lines.

I’d commented on here earlier about the VR game being too realistic and I’ve just seen their kiss scene in Rongcheng and I’m laughing my head off. How are they kissing with their VR headsets on? lol it’s soo funny I know I need to to throw logic outta my brain. I loved the scene tho.

Who the F@ck writes these summaries for these show, Can someone explain to me whats the story is about.
the ML and FL first meet through a VR escape room like game and then their paths cross again in their daily lifes. And the story goes on and they fall in love slowly. can’t explain any simpler than this.

This is a fantasy VR game concept, where the sets, food, clothes are real but some of the other effects are fake.…
I get it a large scale set with snow and other effects being the actual VR

So...I am guessing certain effects like snow and gun thing is VR but the rest of the setup is real... they should…
that’s what I was thinking. in the beginning it was soo confusing because she saw the set getting built in front of her eyes through the VR glasses so I wasn’t sure if the set was real or not. the drama made it sound like everything is VR

I’m halfway through but I just can’t get past this issue of the VR game. it’s obviously VR, but they can eat? sit? ride horses cars, sleep on beds and have actual sculptures falling on them? At this point it’s not VR it’s just a film set where you can do anything. like how big is that underground basement for it to have everything? I’m no VR user but I’m pretty sure I know VR isn’t that advanced. at the end I know it’s a fictional drama so I’m gonna try my best to ignore this.

Started it yesterday and just finished it. A solid 8-8.5 out of 10 for me. Episode 11 and 12 made me want to rate it lower but I added in my imagination and was able to fill in the gaps.

But seriously what went wrong in the last 2 eps? I thought I’d skipped scenes and episodes because the story would jump from one to another scene without completing it. What even happened in the Italy arc? How did they get together? what happened in during the castle confession? How did they exactly wrap up the filming in Italy? And in ep 12 they jumped scenes too. did she end up meeting her parents? I know it’s 12 eps so they can’t go in detail for everything but it felt like we are being deprived of soo many deleted scenes. I wish it was a novel adaptation so I could read it to get a better insight but now I just have to rely on my imagination to join the dots to complete the story.

I’m midway through the drama where do ra mi takes over her body. I’m really liking this except I can’t get through her psychiatric issues. I wouldn’t give a shit In the past but now that I’m a medical student I get triggered by do ra mi. The whole time in my head I was like girl go back to your psychiatrists and get therapy, antipsychotics and antidepressants. But she just brushed it off? And even when she realised that she’s losing control to do ra mi, she didn’t do anything? She needed to be stabilised with some meds and a hiatus. But I know this arc is needed in the drama so I’m gonna look past it. Kim Seon ho and Go Youn Jung are doing amazing. I love them both.

The Best Thing, The First Frost - they’re both soo good but I’d say start with the The Best Thing as ML is just like Lin Yusen.

with the hand tremors I meant it as an example. I meant he can still be another type of doctor who’ll be able to perform minor procedures which won’t interfere with his fine motor skills or visual defects. I come across lots of doctors who only do ward rounds and clinics.

I get your point and I agree with you. But I’m talking about specifically ep 27. He said it in a way like he really can’t be a doctor anymore because that’s not possible. it’s like somebody having a stroke and not being allowed to drive for their life. that’s what his comment gave me. Like it’s not possible at all due to legal reasons.

I was quite annoyed when Lin Yusen in ep 27 said he’s going back to the medical field but then he said “I can’t really be a doctor anymore, but I’ll do something related”. He said it in a way which made me understand like that’s not allowed by the medical regulation bodies.

I think there is a clear distinction between doctors and surgeons. All surgeons are doctors but not all doctors are surgeons. If he can’t do surgery there’s still soo many options out there for him. Not sure why the drama is soo fixated on him not being able to be a doctor because he can’t do surgery. In the beginning also he had said he quit because if he can’t do surgery then he can easily be replaced. Even with his hand not functioning like before he could still be a doctor and not do surgery. Instead of being a neurosurgeon he can become a neurologist or branch out into other fields. He can still help patients. His hands are absolutely alright for basic procedures. I have come across surgeons (orthopaedic and general surgeons) who have hand tremors and are still functioning well in their life and career. I just personally feel like the drama has got the wrong understanding of the medical field.

I think it’s because in the drama they’re both amateur romantic and each other’s first bf/gf. So they’re probably trying to portray the innocence of first time relationships. Hopefully they’ll get better 🤞🏻

honestly it feels so much satisfying him begging to fl for all the air he put on t& honestly i think this…
The only thing FL will be feeling for SML in the next few eps will be second hand embarrassment. Girl will be thanking the lords that she did not end up with this pathetic guy. Now he’ll be the one to have a guilty conscience in her presence.

I swear 2ml character is so stupid, even seeing the way she rushed into the hospital looking for ML and bothered…
That’s what I’m saying. Even to a clueless idiot like me I know from their actions that it’s ML and FL against the world. It clearly looks like they like each other and are dating with no official tags. Why bother sticking his butt in if she’s happy in life and has forgotten him.

watching ep 25 rn and I just can’t get past this scene of Zhuang Xu asking his colleague with retrograde amnesia about Lin Yusen. I’m soo annoyed that I had to pause to come and comment on here lol. Like bro seriously? Your colleague/ friend just got out of a major surgery and is recovering and you think it’s more important to clarify a casual comment he had made. I would’ve just brushed it off if I had heard it but he keeps holding onto the comment like his life depends on it.

SML was so harsh with her at the wedding and had already accepted the fact that she had a boyfriend meant that he should have given up on any possibility of them getting together. he was even telling his coworker that she has a boyfriend so he knew that he had to give up and get rid of all his emotions and feelings towards her. how can you expect to get together with a person you were rude to and made her cry? I personally would be embarrassed to even talk to them after that. who cares if the ML is pursuing her. He’s always seeing them together so it must mean that she has accepted the pursuit which means you have lost your chance. No point in clarifying things and pursuing her when there’s already a man before you in line who’s doing that.

And even if he did remember and tells everything, what’s it got to do with you? The coworkers who heard the conversation are like third or fourth party in their relationship, any information acquired is not legit unless you hear it from the main couple themselves. Or the conversation heard could have had lots of missing details. plot twist - Imagine chasing a girl around thinking she’s still not got a boyfriend only for her to later tell you that she and ML were always dating but had to lie to family that he was still pursuing her because of certain reasons and circumstances.
