What if you are in hell and all the people “the mirrors” are against you , showing you your worst side? What if all of them are your friends and giving you a tsunami of verbal reaffirmation and kindness, what if a new mirror comes into town and reflects your darkness from within , what if that new mirror gets the reflection back on it and sees that’s it’s not a clean mirror after all.
Planting thoughts and colonizing someone’s mind by fabrications is a scary thing.
When the main leads interact they aren’t giving us a trope filled delusional story, they ask the question that the viewers always wanna ask, “are you guilty?” “I don’t trust you.” Did you murder someone recently?”
Simple honest direct language, which is followed by amazing profiling and detective work, just like reality, gaslighting and manipulative.
A lot of people on the internet from what I’ve seen over the years, always say “death to all criminals!” Before the verdict is out, what if the accused is a family member, or a close friend or a son?
That one look of doubt to someone innocently accused can break a man.
Oh how scary it is to be judge and jury before the actual accuser gets judge by the actual law.
Acting 10/10
Story 8/10 , I’ve seen many thrillers, even this copies some of the lines but it’s good.
Music 100/10
Last score 9.1/10
“You trust me right?, you won’t betray me, after all we all here are family...”
We won’t be getting a similar strong writing anytime soon, so enjoy it slowly and thoroughly because there is much more to it.
8.1/10
“ We think they're trapped in there,
But to the fish, we look trapped.”
“Sometimes, I want to travel with you to the most distant lands. At the same I want to be trapped with at home, only me and you.”
“I’m okay now, I’m not lonely anymore, even if you are not here beside me, I’ll just imagine you beside me, and I’ll be okay again.”
Some lines are extremely well written, the cinematography is great, won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s my cup of earl grey

This is what Korea does best, gangster thriller and this dog eat dog bleak as hell movie is what makes me love Korean cinema.
Revenge is served excellently, the acting makes Vincenzo look like child’s play, my girl can deliver in darker atmospheres like no one else.
All the roads here lead to the darkest points, it doesn’t matter which one you take.
Highly recommended, if you loved king or the mayor or dirty carnival.
9.2/10
Can we call a movie lyrical? A “horror” movie that is not your typical jump scare fest, will you feel scare? No. But you’ll feel mesmerizingly haunted.
The movie itself is like a painting, with no Hollywood “BE SCARED” overused tactics but still delivers better than any other movie does, predictable but thoroughly enjoyable.
For a 1964 movie, it looks so damn FRESH.
Two of the stories can be found in Lafcadio Hearn's book Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Things. These are "Hoichi the Earless" ("The Story of Mimi-nashi-Hôïchi") and "The Woman in the Snow" ("Yuki-Onna"). The other two can be found in other books of Hearn's; "Black Hair" can be found as "The Reconciliation" in Shadowings, and "In a Cup of Tea" is to be found in Kotto: Being Japanese Curios, with Sundry Cobwebs.

Just how much light can a puppy bring into someone’s darkened life.
Sentimental tale of loyalty and friendship. (I cry no cap)
Adapted from Ryohei Akimoto’s and Kengo Ishiguro’s book The Life of Quill (Also has a Japanese movie version)

It’s a good melodrama with a dark aesthetic.
